Does Rhysand Die Novels & Stories

They say dragons never truly die. No matter how many times you kill them. ―Suzanne G. Rogers,?Jon Hansen and the Dragon Clan of Yden Randolph Belishaw stumbled down the alleyway, falling against a trash bin. His cold body shook. He couldn't think. Couldn't speak. Blood trailed down his cheeks as he clawed the sides of the metal dumpster and tried to stand. Must get to Jodie. Must warn Mikhail.

I scramble to Ryland, pressing my hands to his wound. “Stay with me,” I beg. “*Stay with me*.” His eyes flutter open, his hand weakly grasping mine. “Zara…” The white-haired woman approaches, her gaze piercing. “The Bloodfang Alpha dies tonight. But your children… they have a destiny.” Ryland’s breath hitches. “No… Zara, run…” The woman raises her hand. Everything goes black.

And still, countless people would die. It seemed like the prophecy was truly our only hope, but I knew that we could never fulfill it. I wasn’t the one with the power to do it. Rhys was, and he was dead. It was hopeless. I had no idea what to do. My plan was to kill Onyx, but the more time I spent with him, the less I was convinced that was the right thing to do. I didn’t see how his death could benefit my people. It seemed like he was one of the only forces keeping alphas like Gilliam in check.

"Prince Rhysand hasn't returned to the palace for days now" King Cassian Asked Hugo who nodded. "Did he perhaps find out that you know he did that?" The king inquired. "I sent the body to the old Physician my lord," Hugo said quietly, his both hands folded "She did a test on his body and found that he was indeed killed not by vampire claws but by a witch" King Cassian frowned "you mean, Rhysand didn't kill Caine? But a witch?"

Shall I go to Redville? I’d told the elders I would declare war on the Cursed Alpha but they were all weary. Now was the right time since he was dealing with the aftermath of his father abdicating the throne without naming a successor with none of his kids doing anything about it. He had a lot of work so he’d be distracted. If we struck now, we may have a chance but the elders refused to fucking move! I was still holding my phone when it vibrated with a text that said, “I can help you get her but you must be willing to risk your life. Soon, I’ll contact you to discuss our plan but before that, prepare yourself for battle.”

He sincerely apologized, slightly bowed to her before he shuffled his feet towards the door, passing her by. I stood straight, caressing my blistered wrist. Once Dantalion left the door, Rhys started gaiting towards the stairs, planning to go to her room. “Don’t take my words seriously,” she impassively uttered, passing me by. “I did that to save myself.” “I know,” I mumbled to myself while staring at this black dragon mark on my wrist, reminding me of the pact. “I know that too damn well!” -- “Tell me the truth Theon,” Ane furiously demanded. “What did that guy mean? Did Lady Rhys actually kill some of us?”

While I wait, I wander to Chunk’s room. I’m not all that close to the guy, but he’s a solid brother I’d trust with my life. He deserved better than to get shot in the chaos of people trying to escape. The anger of Viuda Negra losing both their Alpha and his heir. The future of both our packs is completely in the air right now and I don’t know what to do about that. *You don’t know that anyone is dead right now,* Mick states. I rub my face knowing that’s true. Rumor is that you feel the bond with your Alpha sever if they die. I haven’t felt anything. Has anyone else?

My savior muttered, his voice low and raspy. I knew that voice. My eyes widened and I looked up, my breath catching as I realized that the wall had actually been a person. None other than Killian fucking Rhodes.

she chuckled more, laughing at the thought. “But there was no body!” Xanth said in support of Syrana. “Her body was never found, so there is no reason to believe that she is dead.” “Well dead or alive, I am leaving here right now! You lot…” she said and turned to face Xanth, Syrana, and the other Khione warriors that had managed to remain alive till now. “…can choose to wait for Ryder and his newfound love, I’m returning back to Astaroth!” The ground shook then, although slightly, it caused a part of the cave ceiling to fall, and they very clearly hear the voice of Osyron cry out in rage, and then just as quickly as it had started, it settled.

he repeated, his voice unwavering. Rhys moved so fast I barely had time to react. One second, he was standing still, The next, his hand was around Slaven’s throat. Gasps filled the room. I surged forward. "Drop him, Rhys!" I commanded, my claws extending. But the look in Rhys’s eyes told me everything. He wasn’t going to stop. "You fools want war?" Rhys hissed. "I’ll give you war." And with that, he ended Slaven’s life.
