I said and walked past him, not giving him a chance to talk back. I chuckled to myself as I climbed onto the concrete platform. I could feel his eyes on me, but I didn't bother to look. This was more fun than I thought. He finally stepped onto a platform; his expression was impassive now. I liked flustered Gerald better than impassive Gerald. "So, what's my first lesson today, Sensei?" I asked in an exaggerated cute voice. I was cringing at my own act, but I had to stay focused. The whole point of this was to prove a point.

I said with a smile, "but I don't know if I can handle long walks, so I'll have to test it gradually to see if it's feasible, but I won't give up." She smiled contentedly. "Hiroshi said you don't give up unless you've tried the situation, so we're going to make the most of the morning. In the park, we'll have a Sensei to practice with, and that way, we can put into practice everything related to our knowledge," she indicated, which worried me a little.

I could tell he was silently judging every move, analyzing every step I’d take. “Alright,” Hadzen said, stepping back a few paces. “Let’s start with the basics. Show me what you’ve got.” I took a deep breath, centering myself, and fell into the stance Mom had taught me in our practice sessions. I focused on Hadzen, my mind honing in on his movements. You just need to stop thinking about it.” He said, catching my leg with his bare hands and flipping me backward.

Sensei Tanaka said as he turned to face me, "You can do as you please." "Seriously?" I asked, "And you won't do anything to me later, " "Pinky swear," Sensei Tanaka said, causing me to roll my eyes at him. "You're not a child, so please stop doing that," I said to Sensei Tanaka who was staring at me with an amused expression. "You're the one that told me to go ahead so don't you dare punish me later for doing what you told me to do," I said. "Seriously Bea, I will not punish you if you attack this nice man," Sensei Tanaka said and a huge smile made its way to my face, I was going to fucking enjoy this, I thought to myself as I faced their leader who still had that smug grin on his face

To my surprise, they'd been surprisingly damp when she handed them over. I had her. From total catastrophe to a stronger position than I'd been in before it started -- not bad for a simple English teacher with no plan.
