It’s time for me to protect him. I gently touch his shoulder, my voice soft but resolute. “Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.” He doesn’t look at me, keeping his focus on the wolves, but I can feel his worry radiating from him like heat. “Don’t make trouble,” he murmurs, his words filled with concern.

He says earnestly. “Don’t you worry about us. Worry about being the awesome kid you are.” I say as I kiss his cheek.

I said with a hint of worry laced in my voice. "Do not worry about that now. Kai will take care of you. From what you are telling me right now, it does not look like he has been doing a bad job. Give yourself some peace, or did anything happen again? You said it yourself that the note has stopped coming in." She said. "Nothing has happened. Everything has been going on too smoothly; it's making me feel a sense of dread that everything will soon end. Like something bad is about to happen." "You can't be serious. Everything is perfectly fine, and you are finally getting the life that you truly deserve. Enjoy it, relax, and ease into it, Katie." She urged me, interrupting my fears.

I ask, telling myself there’s nothing to worry about. “Just, uh…about…you know what, never mind. It can wait.” “Really?” He blinks a few times and smiles at me, though his smile is forced. “It’s nothing to worry about right now. Really.”

Gomez asked. She held up a thumb and forefinger. “Little bit.” “Good,” Saber said. “That’s good?” she asked, surprised. “If you’re busy thinking about us and what we’re going to do or say next, then you’re not going into your head and worrying about shit you don’t have to concern yourself with.” “How do you know it’s stuff I don’t have to worry about?” She turned to him and he ran a finger along her lower lip. “Because anything that you truly have to worry about, you’ll tell us and we’ll take care of it for you.”

"I've been trying to reach him for two days, and I'm getting worried. Tell me Marco, what's going on in LA?" Marco's expression turns neutral, and he hesitates before speaking. "I haven't spoken to the don directly Donna, but I believe the don is fine. You know it is rare to see someone worried about the don, but be rest assured Donna the don is fine" Marco said with a neutral expression. Marco's words were meant to be reassuring, but they only seemed to heighten my anxiety. "Please don't worry about him?" How could I not worry when I had no idea where he was or what was going on?

“Uhm, I am already used to it. You don’t have to worry.” “If I don’t worry about you, who else am I supposed to worry about?”

“Look, I don’t know what’s bothering you. I don’t care who it is. A horrible history teacher, a rival rider, whatever. But I know this much.” He pushed himself up, leaning on one elbow, and looked out over the horizon with a detached expression. “Worry is useless,” he stated, his voice dropping to a serious, almost philosophical tone. “It doesn’t change the past, and it ruins the present. If someone you care about is fighting a battle, the only useful thing you can do is to make sure you win yours.”

I closed my eyes, about to jump off a building, when an ill-timed phone ringtone blared. On the other end of the phone came a voice that I couldn't be more familiar with. It was my own voice. "Don't jump, Jack Sterling."

“Busy, Don. Everything is under control.” I glance toward the bar. One bartender is dealing with an impatient customer while another employee moves between tables with a tray balanced on one hand. “Keep it that way.” I look back at him. “I don't want problems tonight.” David nods quickly. “You won't have any, Don. You don't have anything to worry about.” “Worry?” I give a quiet scoff. “I don't need to worry. If anything goes wrong tonight, your head goes in for it.” The color drains slightly from his face. He bows again.
