Avery P.O.V. I need to go here and tell them how I feel. I should deserve to be closer and hear their side of the story. I should give them something before I reject them. I don’t want to, but I will set them free from a loser who isn’t good for nothing. I am not strong, I am weak. I am not beautiful, but I am average-looking. I am not the tallest, but I do get a big heart.

Anna’s POV A lot of people tend to conclude on my personality a lot. Most of them call me annoying, selfish, overbearing, inconsiderate and half of the time, I know they’re all right about this. I’m an awful person, sometimes. Then sometimes I’m the sweetest person ever and I just think a lot of people don’t deserve that part of me. Besides, it’s not as if I’m the only horrible person on planet earth, I’m not as horrible as some people make me out to be. I just tend to get very ignorant of other people’s feelings because I like to consider mine first and that shouldn’t be a problem.

I pack my hair into a messy bun right before I slash running water into my face. My reflection bounces off the mirror. “He'll never love a lowlife like you!” Aria's words scream at me. I wince in pain at her words. But in reality she was probably right. I am pretty average. Average black hair, average brown eyes. Average everything. I obviously won't be a problem for her anyway, I'll just blend in with the crowd. Professor Caden won't notice me anyway. A thought comes to mind and a smile spreads across my face. I might be an average Joe but at least I can beat her ass, at least not with her sidekick Freya around.

Just being gentleman though is what I saw in anime movies and dramas. I was so relieved that I can turn myself back to normal not trying to act just to like me back the person who I am talking to. Out conversation is not that boring and also not that good because sometimes there are awkward moments. I don't want to think about it now so, as soon as he's gone in my sight I began walking going home, since my house isn't that far.

The reason I undoubtedly despise the people in this area is due to the fact that every single one of them is exactly the same, fake. I have precisely one month of university life left. After that, I really need to get out and just see the world. The people in this area seem to think that I am just this common jock that goes around and breaks the heart of any unlucky female foolish enough to be interested in the likes of me. However, what they don’t know is that I am nothing special, I am just as awkward as anyone my age, if not more. To prove a point, just today I approached this raven-haired goddess of a woman, hoping that I would be able to talk her up and possibly take her out on a date.

“They were like that?” “They’re both geniuses, but meh, it’s like I have to maintain something that isn’t really me if I have to be with either one of them.” Of course I had to put myself out there. “I am boring. It all boils down to a lot of guys liking you and will like you.” “I don’t get it though.” “Why do guys like you?” “Yeah. I wouldn’t like me if I were a dude.” “Because?” “I know I’m weird. My personality depends on the day. I’m awkward and I know I look like a scarecrow right now.”

I don't get up lately for school, greeting my parents "Good morning" with a bright smile, tapping little siblings heads or whatever ( I don't have any ) and shove some breakfast in my throat. I don't ride with my mom or dad and listen to them saying, "Have a good day, sweetie!" I don't blush as strawberry when I see every hot guy passing me and start to talk about their asses with my friends. I don't go to a club or a concert or a party and dance wildly and get stoned, ending up someone's bed. I don't tell people names behind their back and if I do, I don't bother to say that in their faces, too. I am so quick. My thoughts change within a second.

I ask, "Don't you agree?" Mouth twisted, she answers, "It was at first. Look at me, Ajay. I'm just a geeky nerd who got tired of being overlooked. Yes, I'm attractive, but I don't have the sex appeal Chiara has or the alluring nature of Lucy. Neither am I beautiful like you. I'm just average.
