Sins With My Ex's Father
Dracula was awake.
He stood barefoot amidst the smoke and ruin, flames licking at the floor around him, but not a single ember touched his skin. His black and ancient coat was spotless, hugging his lean frame like a second skin. Not a hair was out of place, not a single burn marred his body.
His eyes, once closed in eternal rest, now blazed red, ancient, unreadable, and alive.
The Elders remained bowed, the weight of reverence pressing heavier than the smoke. None dared speak unless permitted. And if their undead hearts could beat, it would have thundered wildly in their chests.
