She then noticed the highlighted point displayed on the screen and there it was.

I have so many other expletives to call this stranger. Just when I thought I was far from him, he appeared right in front of me. "Wait, Wh-aaat? How did you do that? You were right behind me just then," I was dumbfounded, but more so at the fact that I keep asking dumb questions. This is how side characters die in horror movies. Fancy sci-fi name for a death trap, if you ask me.” My chest tightened. “What the hell do you mean, system?” He stood and pointed toward a massive screen glowing at the far end of the room. The light from it painted everyone’s faces in eerie blue. “See that?” he said. “That’s the Overseer. The AI that runs this shitshow.”
