Sensing my movement, he put the device down and turned to me, a slow, lazy smile spreading on his lips.
"Good morning, wife," he murmured, pulling me into his arms. His hand roamed over my back, possessive and loving.
"Good morning," I whispered, blushing slightly. "What time is it?"
"Late," he chuckled. "You needed the rest. But I have something for you."
He reached out to the bedside table and picked up a small, velvet box. He opened it, revealing a ring.
It wasn't an ordinary wedding band. It was a wide band made of white gold, encrusted with small black diamonds, and in the center, a single, huge, flawless blue stone.
