People scream and scurry away in fear, they are right to fear me, I am too angry to show mercy right now. I remember reading a book when I was a girl, all about dragon lore and the special things they could do, so I lift my right paw and bite into my finger/toe to draw blood, then lower it to Drake. I let a few drops fall onto his chest and then one into his mouth, before sealing my wound and returning my attention to those around us. These tiny things are all my enemies they all are trying to take Drake away from me! “RAARR!! Grrrrr!!”

She spotted a big shimmering black dragon that seemed to be looking right at her. The big eye blinked, its big frame fidgeting a bit. A huge black and silver mass of scales and muscles sat directly across from her, its ginormous purple eyes had her dead to rites, and they both knew it. “Please don't give me way,” she whispered, shaking from fear. She cursed that her curiosity had gotten her noticed. The dragon blinked a final time and averted its eyes somewhere else as if it had heard her whisp

Rows of towering bookshelves stretched up into the darkness, accessible only by rickety rolling ladders that looked like skeletons. Tristan and Saoirse moved through the main stacks like ghosts. The librarians—hunched, robed figures with goggles sewn into their hoods—were busy cataloging a new shipment of stolen scrolls from the Dragon Kingdom. They didn't look up as the Prince and his servant slipped past the main desk and into the shadows of the rear alcove. They reached a heavy iron door set into the stone wall. It had no handle, only a keyhole shaped like a screaming mouth.

Hoping to buy himself a little more time, he grabbed one of the thicker books—Bag of Bones—and hurled it toward the stairs just as the panther came into the library. Time stretched out like taffy, and as the book sailed across the room, the panther seemed to shrink before his eyes. With dawning horror, Brad realized there had never been a panther, it was only Phantom. He cried out even as the book landed on top of the cat. Phantom let out a nails-on-chalkboard cry, pinned beneath the heavy brick of a volume. Brad hurried back to the stairs, casting the book aside. Phantom seemed daze, mewling and curling up on itself like a pill bug.

Chapter Three – The Song of the Dragons (Fred’s POV) I had never seen anything like this before. Drake’s lair was a world of its own—vast, endless, and pulsing with power. The stone walls weren’t ordinary rock; they shimmered faintly, like veins of molten gold ran beneath the surface. Giant pillars stretched toward the ceiling, some carved with ancient symbols, others scarred by claw marks so deep I could only imagine the battles that caused them.

The demon creature made of bones growled weaker and finally stopped moving. Draco emerged onto the surface of the snow and flew towards the skeleton dragon that was buried in the snow up to its neck. With a few swings and slashes of the sword, Draco shattered the skull of the skeleton dragon into shape. He dug into the snow with the force of the wind, then plunged into the snow pile to reach for the golden heart that was still beating merrily.

We all chuckled. Drace cleared her throat. "Alright, kidlets, let's begin our first lesson. Dragons are big. We weigh a lot. But our bones are hollow, ridiculously strong, and exceptionally long. Most of the weight of a dragon comes from the scales, the larger internal organs, the wings, and the tail."

Countless bones spurted out, stopping Caspian. "This is... the Dragon Bone?" Caspian recognized the aura lingering around these bones. They should belong to the Dragon race. A figure appeared with the Dragon Bone. His aura was stronger than that of the enemies he had encountered in the Abyss of Holy Devil before Caspian. Including the Evil Shadow Ghost Cultivator he met in the Ten Thousand Tomb Forest! In fact, Ghost Cultivator Evil Shadow was not that strong. He had been cultivating for many years, so it was very strange and difficult to deal with.
