The Dragon King's Obsession

The Dragon King's Obsession

Damien looked at the book Charlotte was holding and noticed that it was a historical book with the legends of dragons . " You choose a rather interesting book . " said king Damien with a smirk . " Huh ? " said Charlotte confused as she looked at the book . " It's a historical book of our world , one of the oldest with legends that have passed down from generation to generation . It has a lot of geographical, archeology and alchemy elements . Will you be able to understand it ? " said king Damien . ' Is he really asking that question to a prodigy student like me ?! He is a king . I am surprised how he hasn't even gotten a CV of mine from the human world . ' thought Charlotte as she flipped th

Although I agree with another comment about some issues with grammar and spelling it really isn't that bad compared to almost all other stories I've read here and I have to say that this story really struck a cord in my heart. Such a lovely and inspiring story and I am very pleased with how it ended

BONE CROWN

BONE CROWN

Chapter Twelve — The Crown Descends The Bone Crown hovered above Lyra’s head. Spinning. Breathing. Alive. Ancient bone fused with blackened gold. Veins of silver fire burned through its cracks like molten moonlight. The broken crowns of dead kings had become one. And now they wanted her. The Hollow Queen screamed. Not rage. Panic. “Stop!” Lyra had never heard fear in her voice before. That alone made her hold still. Wind tore through the crypt in violent spirals. Dust and ash whipped upward around the descending crown. The shattered tombs rattled. Fallen swords lifted from the floor. Even the shadows seemed to recoil from the thing above her.

The Dark Dragon Prince

The Dark Dragon Prince

The one in front spoke, his voice deep and devoid of emotion. My heart was hammering so hard against my ribs I was afraid they could hear it. The warrior lifted his hand and immediately, servants entered behind them carrying large wooden chests. “These are gifts sent by Prince Draven for his bride.” He said. My eyes widened as they lifted the lids. Lisa gasped, even mother took a step back. Inside the chests were bars of gold, jewels, rubies the size of eggs, strings of flawless black pearls, and golden artifacts that looked older than our entire kingdom. Everything practically screamed how wealthy and powerful their master was. But it didn't feel like a beautiful gesture.

FROZEN BONDS: THE HALF-BLOOD'S MATE

FROZEN BONDS: THE HALF-BLOOD'S MATE

I don't know anything. Rourke's chanting grew louder, the ancient words vibrating through the air like physical things. They crawled across my skin, burrowed into my ears, made my wolf whine deep in my chest. The temple stones began to glow—faintly at first, then brighter with each passing moment. Colors I'd never seen before pulsed along the ancient carvings, and shadows moved within the stone as if something was waking from a very long sleep. He was doing something. Opening something. And if we didn't stop him soon, it would be too late for all of us.

Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

Information about dragon mating bonds was nearly nonexistent, spoken in the same hushed tones one might use when discussing a storm that could swallow the sea. The first book I pulled was heavy and dusty, the cover embossed with faded sigils. The binding creaked when I opened it, and the pages were dry and brittle under my fingers. The script within was neat but faded to the color of tea, and as I flipped through, I saw the signs immediately. Sections that had been deliberately torn out, whole paragraphs erased with care.

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

He had pushed Damian’s spare ammo crates onto the floor to make room for his book. Damian sat on the floor, his back against the wall, his stone leg stretched out. He was cleaning the Hammer. "You're in my seat," Damian grunted. "It's a comfortable chair," the Skeleton rasped. "For a jailer." The Skeleton turned a page of the skin-book. "Your son," the Skeleton mused. "He is clever. He hardened his shell. He made himself... crunchy." "He made himself tough," Damian corrected. "Inedible," the Skeleton agreed. "For now. My hounds do not like metal. It breaks their

The Forbidden Claim: Three Alphas, One Luna

The Forbidden Claim: Three Alphas, One Luna

Kaelen carried my fevered, shaking body against his chest, his jaw locked into this straight line of grim, too desperate determination, while Caleb and Jace scouted the dunes ahead, the sand shifting like it was breathing. "There!" Jace shouted suddenly, his voice cracking against the dry wind. From the center of a massive, superheated depression in the sand, there rose the colossal, petrified skull of an ancient dragon. It wasn’t even the bone part that pulled my focus. It was the blinding pure golden light spilling from its cavernous eye sockets and jagged jaws. The light didn’t burn like the desert sun—no, it radiated this ancient, absolute calm, like something final and quiet.

The Game of Breaking Bones

The Game of Breaking Bones

I would come back to him. Julian rose to his feet, swaying. He stumbled to the corner and wrapped both hands around the heavy steel pipe. He closed his eyes. All he could see was me carrying him through the rain. He clenched his jaw, raised the pipe high above his head, and swung it down with every ounce of strength left in his body -- straight into his own left kneecap. *CRACK.* The sickening, brittle snap of shattering bone echoed through the tiny basement. Blinding pain ripped through his entire body. His kneecap was smashed to pieces. His lower leg twisted at a grotesque, unnatural angle.

The Dragon's Bride

The Dragon's Bride

That was when she noticed an old red binding book on her bedside table. There was a name on it, (Nightwing.) It also had a golden dragon encrusted just below the name. Catori's breathing came out in a rush at that, all sorts of thoughts running through her mind. Did a Dragon leave it here? She took up the book gingerly and examined it. Electric current raced up her arms, causing her to drop the book. The moment it dropped to the floor, it opened to a page on its own. Catori got down on the floor to inspect on the page. It only illustrated an image of a dragon.

The Two Kings and the Lost Elder

The Two Kings and the Lost Elder

Roman's breath stuttered as he sucked a breath in. “Yes, I will be your queen,” Roman said, forcing his voice out as loud as he could without crying. Ezra smiled as he brought the Omega's hands to his mouth and kissed his fingers before standing. Roman's lips part when Nadja begins speaking again, recognizing the tongue of the ancient dragon language. His eyes immediately filled with tears as he looked at Nadja in shock. The ancient Elder stood tall, holding an old thick book. Scales lined the book, creating the cover. On the front is a perfectly shaped baby dragon's first claw that looks as fresh as the day it was shed. It symbolizes the beginning of a dragon's life, a perfect symbol for th
