"It's about a boy who goes on an adventure with a dragon to save his kingdom from an evil wizard." "That sounds cool," I said. "Can I read it?" She nodded, and handed me the book. "Sure, you can borrow it," she said. "Thanks," I said. "Do you like dragons?" She nodded again. "Yes, I love dragons," she said. "They're my favorite animals." "Me too," I said. "They're awesome." We started talking about dragons, and we found out that we had a lot in common. We both liked fantasy books and movies, we both liked drawing and writing stories, we both liked animals and nature.

" Bamboo heard a great noise like the whirr of enormous wings, and then, looking up, saw a huge dragon just in front of him. He knew it was a dragon from the pictures he had seen and the carvings in the temples. the dragon and the turtle had no sooner greeted each other, both very happy at the meeting, than they were joined by a queer-looking bird, unlike any that Bamboo had ever seen, but which he knew was the phcenix. this phoenix looked somewhat like a wild swan, but it had the bill of a cock, the neck of a snake, the tail of a fish and the stripes of a dragon. Its feathers were of five colors. when the three friends had chatted merrily for a few minutes, the turtle told them how Bamboo h

Instead, it had reached the half-dragon realm. RUMBLE! Suddenly! A red flame appeared behind Lyons out of nowhere, and then the half-dragon suddenly opened its mouth and took a deep breath. In the blink of an eye! Lyons's entire body flew uncontrollably towards the half-dragon! "Swoosh!" The long tongue wrapped itself around Lyons's body and swallowed him whole. No matter how Lyons exerted all his strength and struggled desperately to escape, he was utterly unable to do anything to the half-dragon.

As the realization that this massive dragon was most likely Murdok Rori grabbed onto the claw still holding her, and she opened her mouth to speak when the sound of Henry’s laughter pulled her attention away. The book was now floating above his hand and as he chanted Rori watched as translucent, almost glowing bones formed into an armor around him and Rori gasped. Henry pointed his hand toward the massive dragon and a zap of lightning shot from his palm straight into the shoulder of the dragon, causing Murdok to scream in pain, but he did not loosen his grasp on Rori. Henry fired a few more bolts that all hit Murdok and Rori couldn’t stand by and watch her stepfather kill the man that saved

I sat on small wooden stool that was present inside, since Draco was not back yet , I decided to go though my bag, I pulled out all four books that was written by my grandmother on Dark Creatures, Spells, poison and lastly DRAGONS, each of this book included all detail information on spell, method, about ghost, warewolf, sorceress , way to tackle them and many more things, tree books included every detail on other supernatural things while one entire book was dedicated to Dragon. Out of curiosity, I picked up dragon book and started reading from beginning, I only finished two page when I felt someone’s presence behind me, I rapidly turned but found no one right. ‘THUD… THUD….’ two wooden pla

Rose’s POV With nothing to do, I balanced on the bed, legs crossed like the monks in the temple, and resumed my reading of the strange book titled The Girl the Dragon Spared. Earlier in the book, I had read about a little girl named Pearl who was thrown into a dragon’s den as food by a wicked king who had purchased her from her poor parents. It had become something like a custom—the king offering little children to the dragon in exchange for it not reducing his city and people to ash with its fire. But in Pearl’s case, instead of devouring her, the dragon took her in, treated her like her own child, and spared her life.

Frustration claws at my chest until my fingers brush against a thick, worn book shoved far back on a lower shelf. The Legend of the Dragon Warriors. I scoff immediately. Dragons. Of course. I almost shove it back. I hate everything that has to do with dragons now. Everything about them reminds me of things I would rather forget, bonds I would rather pretend never existed. But something stops me. Tiny lettering at the very bottom of the spine catches my eye. Blue fire. My pulse stutters. I pull the book out slowly and flip it open. The pages are old. Fragile. The first image nearly knocks the air out of my lungs.

Fuck it! I turn and rear up, flapping my wings with a high-pitched shriek as the fire erupts out of us. I direct it towards the retreating Lycans and they burn to ash. I look for her and she has vanished. Fucking coward! I look towards the dragon who rumbles at me; I hiss as I fly higher before diving at him, my mouth open and my talons out as I strike, biting and scratching at his scales, his blood coating the ground. When he roars and throws us off him.

“You realize she’s going to memorize this place by the time she’s five.” “I know,” Evelyn murmured, pride threaded through her voice. On the rug, Eva had already chosen. The book was thick, with a worn blue cover and an illustration of a dragon coiled around a tower. She sat cross - legged, fingers pressing lightly against the embossed scales on the cover before opening it. The illustrations inside were rich — watercolor skies, mountains, and dragons with eyes like jewels. Her small voice read the shapes of the letters aloud, haltingly, not yet forming the full words but tasting their rhythm. She traced the dragon’s curved horns, then its tail, then the tower stones one by one.

"Long ago, when the sky was still young and the mountains were mere hills, there lived a creature made entirely of starlight..." Liora listened in rapt silence, her bright eyes wide as she traced the colorful hand-painted illustrations in the margins of the book. Every now and then, she would whisper a question—Did the dragon have wings like a bat or like a bird? Could it eat moonbeams?—and Gareth would pause, answering each detail with solemn seriousness, as if her inquiries were the most important academic queries in the realm. ---------------------------------------------- As the story progressed, the rhythmic sound of Gareth’s voice and the gentle warmth of the hearth began to take their
