And then it came, tearing the fragile silence apart. A roar—no, the roar—exploded across Qombinia, rolling over the city like thunder born inside a mountain. It hurled birds from the palace roofs and froze hearts mid-beat. People who had never seen a dragon dropped to their knees instinctively; those who had knew the sound could only belong to one being in the realm. King Drakonios. Omni Draco. Last of the Eternal Brood.

As the soldier drags me forward, I refuse to stumble. Not now in front of Azraelyrs. The Dragon King stands at the top of the grand staircase. His eyes sweep over my form, eyes shining like an inferno of burning gold. Even from a distance, I can feel the intensity of the authority he carries. The brutal force of his raw power rolling off him in waves. He is taller than I expected to see like the rumors said. A heavy fur-lined cloak drapes over his broad shoulders, giving him an air of savage royalty. The crown upon his head is a dark, jagged metal that looks like metal dragon claws curled around his temples.

She glided lightly over the ground, her magic both elegant and devastating. On the far flank, Oscar, the second son of the King of Dreadmoor — a mountain of a man — slammed his fists into the ground. The earth split beneath the Dark Knights’ feet, jagged pillars of stone erupting to trap and crush. His dark armour gleamed, his black eyes blazing with controlled rage “Try getting through this, you bastards!” he growled.

The walls of the cavern were embedded with raw, uncut diamonds and rubies the size of human skulls, catching the ambient light and turning the cavern into a twisted, glittering cathedral. At the very center of this unimaginable wealth, sitting casually upon a massive throne carved from pure gold and the fossilized bones of an ancient leviathan, was Aurelius. The Dragon King didn't look like a monster backed into a corner. He looked like a god waiting for his worshippers. He was still in his human form, the dark, liquid-like fabric draped over his lower half, his pale, scarred chest exposed. His molten silver eyes locked onto me the moment we entered, completely ignoring the towering, furious

Drake didn't yet fully recovered from his first fire injuries, so the second one made him lose his conscience, with excessive pain. "Your highness" Dale and the warriors rushed towards their king and surrounded him protectively. "Is he a dragon?" low murmurs began to erupt among the people. "Yes, he seems to be. Did you look at his wings?" Someone else said. "Yes, he is a dragon" someone else agreed. "A dragon in our midst? I heard they are vicious creatures. What is he doing here? Did he came here to kill us all?" Someone else suspected. "Did you look at his wings? They are so big. I am sure he must be huge in his Dragon form. He could crush us like bugs" someone said in horror.

ordered Edmund. "Fine, we will use it immediately," replied Al briefly. "What weapon do you usually use, Faun?" asked Edmund. “It's Kyron. Could you give me the big Dwarf-made ax? If the ax were made of dragon scales and a magic stone, that would have been better. Thank you for the warm welcome,” said Kyron with a big grin. He carried an ax on his back, but of course, he could not compare the quality of his weapon to a Dwarf-made weapon made from dragon scales and magic stones.

Kaiser's eyes were locked on the black sword in Yang Xiao's hand, and his face was full of fanaticism. The Dragon's Wrath Sword, which was carried by the Yi Master, was recognized as the best sword in the world. It was forged with Dark Steel from the deep sea, weighed 55 kilograms, and could cut iron as easily as mud!
