The Dragon King's Betrothed
In mere seconds, it was reduced to bones.
I glanced at the dragon, which bared its teeth at the dead corpse. It looked towards me, and its eyes softened. I glanced at the wing, and my eyes shimmered.
"Ramon," my voice sounded hoarse.
The dragon made one final hum, and it began to shrink with a bright red light surrounding it.
In seconds, Ramon was in its place. A grimace was on his face and a bright red burn on his shoulder.
"Oh my God!" I rushed towards him, grabbing him by the arms. "Ramon, I'm so sorry."
