The Dragon King's Traded Bride

The Dragon King's Traded Bride

"I am your wife, we got married tonight, officially, with the old words, in front of everyone." "I was there. I remember every moment of it clearly." "So then why won't you..." "Because you are drunk," he said, even, patient; the patience of a man holding three centuries of wanting with both hands. "Draconis wine is not ordinary wine. It is brewed from a berry that grows only in dragon territory, and it affects the human body four times more severely than it affects anything else. You had four glasses of it and you are sitting in my bed at midnight asking me to..." He stopped, then started again. "When you wake up tomorrow and you cannot remember any of this, because I promise you right now,

THE DRAGON'S BRIDE.

THE DRAGON'S BRIDE.

, Kenna cried out, “Do you know what it means to be with a dragon? It will be beneficial for the two of us. If I even wanted this kingdom, I would have it with a powerful royal dragon by my side! Besides, you should look at the bigger picture, marriage between a human and a dragon is for a better future for us humans” Brenna hissed and continued walking while Kenna hurried to meet up with her. Kaliyah, on the other hand, was nervous. She was sure that the dragon was here because of her letter but what had he come to say? She was completely unaware of how troubled and undignified she looked. Unlike Kenna who had dressed up like she was going for a royal ball, Kaliyah was just in a simple but

The Dragon God's Bride

The Dragon God's Bride

When the cold winds of winter blow, the Dragon God is said to make its presence known. “That’s not true,” I tell him, tugging at his hair to tease him. I've been doing it a lot lately. Thalon often becomes frustrated, but he knows he cannot act against me since I am the Dragon God's bride. “Levabonne is watched over by the omnipresent Dragon God everyday.” “You're only saying that 'cause you're the sacrifice.”

The Bride

My hair was also a simple bun at the back of my head, with a jewelled clip to hold my veil in place. The bridal gown was pure white and simple. The skirt was flowing with a slight train and the sleeves were lace. Although my father had objected to the ‘unconventional dress’ at first…but he had changed his mind at the last minute when my groom’s father, and by father’s good friend, Mr. Davis, had reminded him that this was the twenty first century and women dressing in lace sleeves was appropriate enough. And yet…Mr. Davis hadn’t thought that arranged marriages should’ve been left behind in the nineteenth century either.

Sinful Lust Stories

Sinful Lust Stories

Amara was to be sacrificed as the Dragon bride. She had been raised for this; she had known this day would come. The village had gathered at the base of the black stone altar, whispering prayers in great terror, the dragon of the Mountains, Draco. She stood all dressed in white with her wrists tied up with a red ribbon that marked her as a sacrifice. Her red hair spilled around her, and her green eyes were filled with fear. Every step toward the altar was a step toward death. Her knees trembled, but the villagers pushed her forward, up the steps until she stood alone at the centre of the cold altar.

Rain’s Fire

Rain’s Fire

On the desk sat a large white covered book with gold dragons on the cover. Rain walked to the desk and waited for me to sit down before she opened the book and scooted it closer to me. She then sat on the corner of the desk facing me and said” If you read this part of the mate book you will understand the mating ceremony. After I will tell you about how Reya is and what to expect from us as your mate.” I looked into her eyes for a few seconds and then began to read. The book was old but the pages were pristine and the letters in gold. It didn’t take me long to read the few pages on mating a dragon woman. I now understood why Rain held apart of herself back from me. Dragons, no matter the gen

Creed's eyes soften and he takes my hands leading me to sit down on the bed. “Yes, heat. Your dragon and body are working together to get ready for a baby… usually the first heat causes you to get pregnant.. I don’t want you to freak out because it’s normal but it hasn’t happened in a long time, there’s no other female dragons other than you. You will feel hot, needy, uncomfortable and the only thing that’ll give you relief is to mate with me, we can try ice baths and other things-“ he says sweetly, before he can finish I cut him off. “No, I’m ready. I want you Creed…” I say breathy, needing him, wanting him.

Like I am not just a waste of air in a world filled with people with purpose. I had no purpose a few days ago. And now… Now, I have a princess, and I am a knight in shining armor. “No, you’re the dragon,” Damien cuts in, his voice deadpan and when I look at him, he sighs and blows out smoke, “You said it out loud,” “Ah,”

The Forbidden Bride

“She told me that English men like a woman to bleed on the wedding night, but many lasses don’t, even if they have not been with a man. She told me that lasses put a leach in their channel for a bit a day or two before the wedding to make a weak spot so coupling will shed some blood. I had thought that all the emissary would need was a bloody sheet and mother's trick would provide that for us.” “You deceived the king’s emissary, and therefore the king himself.” “Not as much as you did, Groigair Padraig Alasdair MacInnis.” Padraig scowled at her and grabbed the counterpane, tossing it back to reveal her nakedness. Eliana gasped when grabbed her ankle and tugged her quickly to the edge of the

Dragons And Their Little Mate

And no one had the guts to challenge. Indifferent to all of this, the priest continued to chant the words. Brishor turned to look at Meryl and found her grinning. She really liked what he did with Chezzal and encouraged him in her own way. The lights danced around the two of them. Through the shimmer, they looked ethereal. The audience couldn’t help staring at the beautiful view in front of them. It had been hundreds of years since people had found their mates and there was a wedding of mates. The most complicated case was that of their king. He has two mates and they all knew that his bond was incomplete. But he was one lucky dragon for he found his mate in a human.

I loved this book. The only thing I would recommend is that the series to be marked so everyone knows that this is the 3rd in the series. How it all starts with Ludwig and Penny and ends with Bhishor and Mereyl. This would be a big help to readers like me. All of the books in this series were awesom

Mishak will never disappoint! I have read several books and love them all! The stories have enough detail to make you get lost in the story without dragging out plots. Characters are well defined and not the same from book to book. I honestly don’t know how this author can write so diversely! ...️...️...️

Frequently Asked Questions

Ever stumbled upon a story that feels like a warm cup of tea on a rainy day? 'The Dragon King's Bride' is exactly that for me—a beautifully chaotic blend of fantasy and romance. The plot follows a human woman, often an ordinary village girl, who gets chosen (or sometimes accidentally kidnapped) by the Dragon King to become his bride. At first, she's terrified of his monstrous form and the eerie dragon realm, but as she spends time there, she discovers his softer side. The kingdom itself is a character too, with enchanted forests and talking creatures that add layers to the world.

What really hooks me is the slow burn. The Dragon King isn't some instant prince charming; he's gruff, misunderstood, and often struggles with his own loneliness. The girl, meanwhile, isn't just a damsel—she's clever, stubborn, and slowly unravels the kingdom's curses or political dramas. There's usually a villain—maybe a jealous sorcerer or a rival dragon—threatening their bond. By the end, it's not just about love but about breaking ancient prejudices between humans and dragons. I always tear up when the Dragon King finally reveals his human form, and she realizes he's been her protector all along.
