I could feel something moving through me, an attraction that I hadn’t felt before. Sure, he was tall, dark, and handsome. His cheekbones were high and his body looked like something that had been molded by the gods. It didn’t explain why a part of me wanted to lay my head down against him. To rub my cheek against his scarred chest, press my lips against those four ragged lines. “I’m a dragon and I've claimed you as my mate.” I didn’t say anything to him, I didn’t know what that meant. A dragon, that I was his mate. How was I supposed to respond to that?

Three massive dragons from the neutral clans waited at the entrance their scales shimmering in shades of silver and emerald as they regarded us with wary interest. The largest one a silver-scaled elder stepped forward his eyes narrowing on my chubby form and the glowing hybrid mark across my breast. “We sensed the ritual. A human bonded to two rival bloodlines carrying hybrid young. Explain yourselves before we decide whether to grant passage or deliver you to the highest bidder.”

" It's an old dragon but not the oldest. They disappeared two hundred years ago and no one knew where they went. This is the first time in two hundred years since the dragons made an appearance in their home, RedShire." Vincent watch in astonishment as the girl kept touching the dragon who wasn't bothered to move. Knowing how mischievous Minerva could be, he held her waist, stopping her from climbing onto the dragon. They were like insects in front of the large dragon and the air coming from it's nostrils were like a gust of wind. " Perhaps he could show us where the others are! Come!" Minerva was awed and climbed onto the dragon with Vincent who was looking at the dragon eye to eye.

Kimber stood by, watching the ensuing chaos in horror. “Dragon, I'll get you, all of you,” he screamed, as Nick and Adam held him down.But Madchen paid no attention, as she watched Drago turn a shade of blue, and foam at the mouth. “Drago!” She dropped to her knees, shaking him by the shoulders, but he didn’t respond. Instead, he stared up at the lights, seeming catatonic. His green eyes faded to a deep black, rolling to the back of his head.

Even during the last war there was no reports of Havoc ever coming across a dragon nor one participating in any battles! The dragon instantly turned it's horned head towards Alexis with narrowed it's eyes, when it's reptilian slits locked onto him. A dark glowing began to emanate from it's throat. It looked as if someone was causing a lightning storm in a small blacked out bottle. "Oh shit." Alexis mumbled, half whined as the dragons mouth opened. POOM! An electric blast shot out of it's mouth slamming into Alexis's chest.

He lowered his head so I could pet him. "It's my turn," the head with the green and blue scales pushed Cyclonus out of the way. "And I am Drizzle The Raindancer and, as my name suggests, I am a water dragon." He leaned in and barely used his snout to touch my cheek. "You kissed her?" One of them shouted. The three went into a quarrel about equality when I noticed the smallest head peeking out of the shadows. "Hello there," I called to him. "Don't you wish to introduce yourself too?" His red and orange scales seemed to burn hot from the distance. I didn't need to ask what kind of dragon he was.

"Either that frog is still alive or I'm growing an alien in there." She looked up at the dragon, her eyes searching its ancient face for answers. "What's happening to me?" she asked, her voice small and scared. "Please, I need to understand." ‘Help me. Please help me understand.’ The dragon's response was a deafening roar that shook Cathy to her very core. She clapped her hands over her ears, wincing as the sound reverberated through her body. When she dared to look up, the creature loomed over her, its massive form blocking out the sky. Its expression was a peculiar mix of concern and exasperation, as if dealing with a particularly stubborn child. ‘Angry. It's angry with me.’

“The Duchess is right. It just reminded me of Imugi. It really looks like a creature that wants to become a dragon, and is in the final stage of becoming a true dragon…” Harriet was silent for a moment and looked at Zaha who was helping her climb this rocky plateau. “Have you ever seen a dragon, Your Highness?” Zaha looked at her, confused. "Ah. I am a dragon myself, Duchess. Just like your Emperor and your Crown Prince.” The two of them blinked at each other. Just then, suddenly a Wyvern was hurtling towards them and was about to swing its tail to attack them, but Zaha with an incredible speed had swung his sleeve at the Wyvern.

Did it just say Dragons? Dragons?! Nah, I’ve lost it. I’m off my rocker. This is a coma and I haven't woken up yet. I'm sure I fell and banged my head, so I’m dreaming right now. I can't possibly be in the same space and place as dragons! Hell nah. I close my eyes and pinch myself, hard. Pain shoots up my arm, and I open my eyes again, slowly. Nope, still here. The creature’s watching me curiously, unblinking. Just... still.

Her lips curve into a smile, eyes bright. It is Alfred, next, whose shoulders sag with relief so intense one might taste it. They are roars, he realizes, as the sounds draw closer. “What is that noise,” Duchess Clair asks sharply in the frozen room. Darla stands, as does Alfred. “It is your daughter, Duchess,” she laughs. “Lady Alcina, the dragonlord. Stormbringer.” * * * * * * * * * * The dragons land with twin roars, making the ground beneath them shake with the weight of their descent.
