Secrets of Desire
My body was humming with something I didn’t want to name.
It wasn’t just attraction, it was the memory of how careful he had been. Rough voice, gentle hands. Every second of restraint had felt like a promise of something deeper, something dangerous.
At some point between midnight and two a.m., exhaustion won. My mind slipped away, into sleep, with his thoughts and name still in my mind.
The dream came slowly, warm, hazy and too vivid.
Soon, I was back in the tattoo chair. The hum of the machine filled the room, but this time it was different. There was no needle, no ink ,just his hand tracing the outline of the lightning bolt on my arm, his touch was slow and lingering.
