Daniela's POV Mike will pick you up at nine. I didn’t know how long I had been staring at the message, but whatever time had elapsed, still wasn’t enough to help me understand that yesterday wasn’t a dream in the least bit. And as if this wasn’t enough, a notification popped up with a message from Justin. You’ve ignored me enough. Please, let me see you. I watched as the notification slid off the screen. I couldn’t open his message. For a while I had even forgotten that he existed and that we still needed to talk about what was going to become of our relationship.

“Daniel, we have to talk.” Daniel knew there was a time and place to tell her what he was, and he felt like this was the time. “Emma, do you remember what I told I can do?” “Yes, Daniel I do.” She stared at him as he paced the room. “That place I found you it was a nightmare you keep reliving. It was when your parents died.” Emma was confused and had questions, so Daniel explained more. “Since I can walk into dreams or nightmares, there is one drawback. If you die in the astral plane, you stay dead out here.”

He shows me to the last room on the left of the second hallway; "Here you are, so the rules are: curfew is 10 p.m. nightly unless you find a night shift job, no drinking or drugs, no companions; you need to search for a job within two days, we have staff on hand to help with resumes, finding interviews and job clothes once you have enough money saved, someone will help you find a place to live." She is silent. She just smiles at me without having to see her whole face, and the odd thing is that I feel her whenever I wake up. I feel her presence.” Silence filled the breakfast room. Charles flickered his eyes from his mother, to his father and then to Mr Hensworth. He rubbed his hands and hunched his shoulder. “And I have a sensation that she might be a lucid, or she's trying to tell me something, without words.”

Her skin soft and warm against his, her breath on his chest, her hair smelled of lavender brushed under his chin. "You don't remember anything?" she couldn't imagine what he must've gone through. He shook his head, "I had a dream about it ... I think it was a glimpse of what I saw in that brief time I woke up in that room ..." he rubbed his face to wipe away the nightmare. "I don't want something like that to happen to you ... we can't risk it, your teacher is right, we have to get out of this contract." Charlie paused for a moment, she too had a confession to make. Y one final time whether we could meet. He refused again, saying he was busy with work and maybe another time. I steeled myself and sent the message I had prepared. "Darling, if we can't meet and I can't even hug or kiss you, we should just break up." I blocked him without a second thought. After the breakup, no one lulled me to sleep at night. My sleep deteriorated sharply, and the nightmares came one after another. In my dreams, a secretary led me to his office. I pushed open the heavy door alone and found nothing but darkness.

Before I can even think about what to do, a familiar and friendly voice filtered into the surrounding surroundings. “Hey Illusions, it's me Frequency. So I can't see you right now because the Nightmare Master has cut my connection to certain technology. I'm sure you noticed some weird things happening, which is why I'm trying to get in contact with all the Nightmare Lords, not just to see if they're okay but to see if they know anything. Since your mute tap once for no and twice for yes, got it?” Aiden’s hand slipped from my shoulder as he watched me yank the knife from my shoulder and tap twice on the nearest object.

Daxton’s p.o.v. Like every night, I wake up covered in sweat. I had another nightmare, but like always I can’t remember what is was about. I have had this nightmare for almost twenty seven years and I can’t remember a single detail after waking up, not one single thing that can help me understand this. No sound, no smell, no image. At first I thought it might have something to do with Sage, but as time passed and details kept alluding me, I gave up hope to find answers in that nightmare.

"Primus." Sending ripples of thought through the dream state I seek him out. I’ve always been able to find him here. Even when he is awake, I can sense him and wait. "Primus," I call again, my heartbeat quickening as he doesn't respond. "My love..?" The dream state grows silent as my voice echoes out into the nothingness. He isn't here. Something must be wrong.
