I sighed, sinking into my bed and letting the day's exhaustion weigh me down. Closing my eyes, I willed myself into sleep, knowing I’d find myself in the dream realm soon enough. When I opened my eyes, the familiar glow of my dreamscape surrounded me, but something was missing. Damien wasn’t here. “I must be early,” I mumbled, pacing the room to calm my nerves. But as I moved toward the door, a flicker of movement caught my eye. Peering through the small gap, I froze.

Dawn's heart pounded as she jolted awake from a vivid and unsettling dream. It felt so real, as if she had been transported to a different world. Sweat dripped down her forehead, and her hands trembled with a mix of fear and urgency. She knew she had to act upon the vision that had just consumed her sleep. In the dream, Dawn saw a war-ravaged land, engulfed in chaos and destruction. She saw Zelda, her closest friend, holding her precious baby tightly in her arms. But something wasn't right. Dawn sensed danger lurking nearby, threatening the safety of Zelda and her child.

As Damon laid down back he murmured “not again pls” Lebotha was jarred awake by another nightmare, her heart pounding in her chest. The frightening images from her dream lingered in her mind - everything around her was dark and crumbling, and she was alone. She turned to see Damon sleeping soundly beside her, undisturbed by her abrupt awakening.

Saving him from his confusion, I explained things better. “ What century is this? I'm thinking it's a different century, that would explain why it didn't exist or this might be a different world entirely. Or my favorite explanation to this, I'm dreaming.” Yes, I still firmly believe that it's a dream. “ Dreams last longer than a month? That's new” He teased me and I glare at him to shut up. “ So, what century....?” I asked again, remembering that he hadn't answered me. “ I don't know.”
