I muttered, walking into the room as the most breathtaking red gown I had ever seen lay pretty on the bed. I contained my squeal, walking into the shower as I tried my best to contain my excitement. ••••• I walked into the car, clutching my purse to my chest as the sun set over the beautiful city, the sea glittering orange and pink hues. I admired my gown, for the hundredth time, the gown was mid-thigh, a deep red which bled into orange and pink at the base. It was sleeveless, held up by a single knot at my neck. I had my dirty blonde hair in an updo, a few strands falling daintily over my face.

His arm lay protectively around her waist, as if his touch alone could anchor her to this world, but she was already slipping. It was a vibrant red and made of silk. Under normal circumstances, I would have found it beautiful, but now I dreaded the idea of wearing it.

The poor woman looked confused as I said, “I am sorry. You looked like a woman I am looking for.” She smiled and looked me up and down. “I could be anyone you want me to be.” I smiled, “Again I apologize.” I went back to the table to a perplexed-looking Jeff. “What was that all about?” I shook my head taking a sip of my water. “I keep having the same dream of a redhead every night and it is making me go crazy.” I combed my fingers through my hair. “Must be some dream if it makes you grab onto every redhead woman you, see?”
