He sealed his promise with a tender kiss on my hand. I smiled, warmth flooding through me. “That’s all I’ve ever wanted.” We continued talking into the night, the hours slipping away as we shared our thoughts and laughter. Eventually, exhaustion settled in, and we decided to go to bed. That night, I slipped into a dream where I was with George, but suddenly, we were separated. A massive river surged between us, its current fierce and unrelenting. I kept yelling for George, my voice rising above the roar of the water, but he walked away, oblivious to my cries.

Melina's pov: I woke up in the middle of the night feeling sweaty and upset because of a nightmare I had. In my dream I saw George dressed as a groom waiting for me in the sanctuary of a church while I was walking slowly down the aisle dressed in a wedding dress. When I approached him I realized that instead of George it was another man who was waiting for me. The same man from my memories, the same man that probably made a scene yesterday night. He was looking at me with a wide smile when he gave me his hand. I reciprocated his smile, took his hand and together we headed to the priest who stood in front of the sanctuary waiting for us.

He climbed out of the bed and stood up to his full height that towered over George “Don’t waste your time trying to intimidate me, boy.” George's eyes glinted dangerously as he sized up Damien. “I’ve seen more of the world than you’ll ever know.” He spat out the last word as if it was poison on his tongue. Youngsters these days are getting bolder by the minute.

He tried to rack his head and ended up losing a few brain cells. "It's not about Dexter. I thought you understand what I am talking about," George clarified. It still wasn't enough to make Kelly understand what was really going on. "I don't exactly follow. If it's not about Dexter, then who are you talking about?" "Hold on a second. Your daughter didn't tell you?" George proceeded to mess with Kelly's head with yet another provocative question. Leaning towards George, Kelly gazed. "Can you get on with this immediately? If I knew what you were talking about, I wouldn't be asking you about it. My reaction should make you understand that I'm lost in deep thoughts,"

Her skin soft and warm against his, her breath on his chest, her hair smelled of lavender brushed under his chin. "You don't remember anything?" she couldn't imagine what he must've gone through. He shook his head, "I had a dream about it ... I think it was a glimpse of what I saw in that brief time I woke up in that room ..." he rubbed his face to wipe away the nightmare. "I don't want something like that to happen to you ... we can't risk it, your teacher is right, we have to get out of this contract." Charlie paused for a moment, she too had a confession to make. "About my teacher ..."

Eventually falling asleep, I remember dreaming about that magical unreal kiss and the way it made me feel alive for the first time in my life.

Different set of eyes balanced on him “How are you dear?” The most elderly woman amongst the bunch asked. “I think I would be fine.” He replied Concern creeped into her face “Why is that?” “I had a disturbing dream in the midnight and I don’t remember anything about it” Chris said with his mouth full of toast bread and a cup of coffee on his hand.

“Teenage girls aren’t the only ones who get lost in dreams and wake up wondering if they were real or not. I did that plenty of times after Paris.” “You dreamed of me?” My lips twitched. “Dreamed of you, saw you in places you weren’t, thought I was hearing your voice shout my name across the street.” His blue eyes pierced mine. “What? You never did that?” “Never.” “Liar.” “I didn’t!” He walked to me, his lips twisted in a smirk. “I don’t believe you.” “You don’t have to believe me.” I walked backward, holding my arms up. There was a hint of mischief in his eyes, one I recognised, one that sent promises of forever flooding through my body like they were whispered yesterday. “George.”
