Constant Dreams Are Fine, But Not to the Extent That I May Die ... They say… dreams show the memories of your life in other worlds. Like in this world, you’re a student, but in another world you’re an actor. In some other worlds, you may be a millionaire, or just simply poor struggling in your life.

The nights are the worst. Sometimes I dream in flashes, light, static, whispers of a name that never fully reaches me. In those dreams, I’m surrounded by fragments of code, melting away like snow in sunlight. I always reach out for someone’s hand, but wake up just before I touch it. My chest races, my fingers tremble. I tell myself it’s just a dream, but deep down, I know it’s something else.

Liam laughed when he saw the expression on my face, “It’s probably the alcohol.” I recalled the way Wilona and Praya would sometimes stare at themselves, especially during training, and now it all made sense, “I doubt that.” Silence filled the air around us until Liam spoke. “Do you ever have strange dreams that feel real?” My expression turned to a puzzled one, “Yes, often. Most of the time.” “You should tell them to Devyn. If you can't tell him, you can always tell me, Wilona, or even Diana.”

I don't like that she is not telling me everything. "Yes, I saw it," she replied, her voice a soothing murmur tinged with curiosity. "It was unexpected, to say the least." A sense of unease tugged at the edges of my consciousness as I pondered the significance of the dream. "What do you think it means?" I ventured, seeking guidance from my wise and steadfast companion. Evie's response was measured, her words imbued with a sense of contemplation. "Dreams often carry messages from the depths of our subconscious," she explained. "Perhaps it symbolizes a new beginning, or a hidden desire within your heart."

She teased, playfully tweaking my nose. I swatted her hand away, sending a playful glare. We sat on the bed, enjoying each other's company. "Anything new to share?" Emilia asked, flashing her signature grin. "I've been having weird dreams," I confessed, avoiding her gaze. "How do you mean?" Emilia asked, scooting closer. "It's difficult to explain. I dream of weird places and giant wolf-like creatures speaking in parables, saying something about finding my purpose." Emilia shrugged. "Wow, that's a lot... but I don't think it means anything." I blinked, surprised. How could it not mean anything?

Lately, I'd been having the same strange dream. A man stood somewhere in the distance, his outline blurred. The only things I could make out were his clear, gentle eyes and the small mole near the corner of one of them. He never spoke. He just watched me with this quiet sadness. Or sometimes, he would murmur, "I miss you so much." No matter how hard I tried, I could never figure out who he was. Nobody in my memory matched him at all.

I mused aloud, trying to make sense of my experiences. "Please, at least rest, Luna," Andy urged gently, guiding me to a chair as he took a seat beside me. "I know you're strong, but sometimes you look so drained it scares me." "I'm fine, I promise," I reassured him, placing my hand on his. "For as long as I can remember, I've had these dreams that feel like reality. It's like I'm not dreaming, but I'm in another realm, or maybe, like another dimension but a mirrored one. I don't know..." I trailed off, stumbling over my words as I struggled to articulate the inexplicable nature of my experiences.

“Who is that? Who are you?” The figure's form wavered, its mist-like appearance shifting. "I am here to guide you about your dreams, to offer you a chance to see your life from another perspective. But note that the answers you are looking for so desperately are already within you.." Answers already within me. The words resonated, a nudge reminding me that I needed to delve into my own memories, my own experiences, to find the key to understanding the dreams I had been having. I was unsure what qualified a dream as a nightmare, but of late…
