Viktoria’s POV I yawned and stretched slowly, opening my eyes. I must have been really tired the night before because I slept like a damn log and I was usually up a lot during the night. I was more vampire than human even if I was part of the dhampir … My eyes cleared and I realized that I was in the coffin! I had been dreaming of being back at Dhampir college! Friedrich and my father were hovering above me but jumped back slightly when I sat up. I could feel Fynn nearby, but I could also feel that something was terribly wrong with him. His breathing was rough and his face was deathly pale. One of his hand was holding his head, painful expression was also visible in his face. “This nightmare again... ” he muttered. This wasn't the first time he dreamed something like this. In his dream, his wife was calling for him. Her face was full of agony and hate, it was as if she wants him to avenge her.
