The Dragon's Empire Book 1

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

Heat twisted low again, fingers itching to trace dragon tattoo, shatter glass cages together. Sleep evaded, penthouse glass reflecting endless night. Eiko's nod gateway, pinning display foreplay. Game layered darker, forbidden pulls magnetic. Chicago breached its signature warning, claim. I countered tomorrow, rivals crushed, his obsession my lever. Two predators, steps shadowed closer, collision inevitable. Ruin beckoned sweetly.

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

I change into a pair of leather pants and a bra strapping my sword to my waist. While I'm changing, Flavius wanders around the room, lightly brushing his fingers across the many bookshelves I have carved out of the mountain wall. "When I thought of your room, I never thought of so many books. I thought it would be full of weapons and armor," he says jokingly. "I love to read, honestly," I respond. "I’m surprised, though; you even have books written in other languages," he remarks. "There is a lot of great literature that came from the elves and the fae. As a dragon, I am fluent in all languages. I only have to hear the language once, and I can speak it," I tell him nonchalantly.

Dark Escape (Book 1 of Dark Escape Duo)

Dark Escape (Book 1 of Dark Escape Duo)

As she made her way to the living room, she called back, “Let’s get to work” Tara followed obediently. She hadn’t noticed the large cloth sack Maggie carried until the old woman reached inside and pulled out a thick, leather bound book. Tara stretched forward to take a closer look. The book showed years of wear. The binding was worn thin and the pages were yellowed. At the end of a long black ribbon that was glued within the binding of the book was an octagon shaped crystal that measured one and one-half inches in length and one inch in diameter.

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

I quickly head out to the next shelf. I don’t know how much time has passed, but I feel exhausted. Drake plops into one of the armchairs before the fireplace, yawning. “I covered thirty shelves, and there’s no book on celestial wolves. This is not a library. It's a book town!” He rests his chin on his arm. “It's so huge that I might find aliens hiding somewhere.” “Stop with the excuses. You are just incapable, that’s all,” Dory says while biting her thumbnail, her eyes trained on the book she’s holding.

Also, I love the characters in this book! I’m sad that story the main characters is finished but then we get to revisit them in the sequel. It made me laugh and cry but luckily laughed a lot! Even the FL’s wolf is great! I love it when the wolves also communicate to them and have quite the character

I love this book. The author did an amazing job with the MLs redemption arc. I've read waaaaay too many books where the ML was horrendous and only wanted th FL back because of whatever improvements to her life/appearance made her "worthy." This lead is different. He actually improves himself.

Dragons of Drakkon - Three book Collection

He stepped up and wrapped his arms around me as we looked out at the view. An hour later Gabe was called back to the office for an emergency meeting, and I browsed through the library in the penthouse and found a book to read. I was far into the book when I thought I heard a noise. I knew Gabe wouldn’t be back this soon, so I got up and searched the apartment and didn't find anything. Maybe I am just hearing things? I walk into the kitchen brewed myself a cup of herbal tea and walked back with my mug into the library to continue reading the romance novel. Once settled on the comfy oversized chair I took a sip of my tea set down the mug then picked up the book. After thirty minutes or so as I

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

I tell him. Flavius nods in response and begins to pack his things. I fill my satchel with various clothing items and few books. "Why are you packing books?" Flavius asks curiously. "Since we are visiting another horde without sending a messenger ahead, I need to bring something that will serve as a gift. Those of the Horde of Fates are known knowledge seekers. I have many books in my private collection that have not been seen since The Fires. They should serve as a suitable present," I say.

Frequently Asked Questions

In 'Slaughterhouse-Five', Dresden is the heart of the story, a city that symbolizes the senseless destruction of war. Billy Pilgrim, the protagonist, survives the firebombing of Dresden during World War II, an event that haunts him throughout his life. The city’s obliteration isn’t just a historical fact; it’s a metaphor for the randomness of death and the futility of human conflict. Vonnegut uses Dresden to show how war strips away humanity, leaving only chaos and suffering.

What makes Dresden so significant is how it shapes Billy’s perception of time and existence. The bombing becomes a fixed point in his life, a moment he revisits endlessly due to his time-traveling experiences. It’s not just a physical place but a psychological anchor, representing the trauma that defines him. Through Dresden, Vonnegut critiques the glorification of war, forcing readers to confront its brutal reality. The city’s destruction is a reminder that history is often written by the victors, but the scars remain for those who survive.
