"Hi, I'm Drake. You must be the new Luna?" As he said that, I noticed how Linda stared at me, and the other girl, resembling her, approached me. I despised the way she looked at me, as if trying to peer into my soul, sending chills down my spine. "So, you're the one who stole my sister's Alpha, huh? A real slut."

She’d always been pretty on the gossip clips—gold hair, ice-blue eyes, a smile like she’d never doubted she owned every room she walked into. On screen now, she looked serene, speaking to a crowd of reporters, one manicured hand resting over her chest like tragedy had humbled her. The subtitles did the talking.
