Kayla squealed when she was done with his make up. I turned the chair to face the mirror and that was it to make me laugh. His facial expression was priceless. He had to bat his long colored lashes to be sure he was seeing the right thing. "I present to you" kayla started "Princess Dillie of Pinkland!" "My hair!" He screamed "My pretty face!" Everything, from the floors to the walls to the bedspread was baby pink in colour. What is it with girls and the colour pink? Her room had a king-sized bed which was located in the centre of the room. Multiple photos of Dulcie, hang on the pink walls. A glass flower vase sat on the window counter. Strawberry cologne, which was Dulcie's, wafted in the room. Honestly, her room was perfect compared to mine. I learned that she was staying with Jake in the same house but at the moment, Jake was not at home.

The ride promising whiplash to the thundering bass of whatever new rock song was dominating the airwaves. But it was the carousel, as always, which grabbed his attention and drew him off the fairway. He threaded his way through the kiddie rides and the usual games. The Hot-Shot, with its subtly too-small hoop. The Balloon Shoot-Out, at which patrons tried to pop slightly under-inflated balloons with dulled darts. And of course, the ever-popular Duckie Pond, a kiddie pool filled with rubber duckies. The only object was to hook a ducky with a three-pronged hook on a pole. Of course, the prizes ranged from plastic cars whose tires fell off within the first ten minutes of use to gelatin plastic

She said excitedly. All I could feel was a little sympathetic to that poor pup. "I thought you didn't like pink anymore." I said with a nervous smile. She shrugged like she didn't even hear me. "You can buy this for Hazel too. She'd look cute." She said. I'd rather not. I looked down at Hazel who was looking around the stalls trying to pick something interesting. "I'll go with something else." I said politely. She shrugged again and I followed her to the registering counter. Even the counter lady seemed amused by that much pink. Poor Daisy.

And now Julia and Aaron broke it! “Her name is Penny,” Stella said, showing her cute piglet wearing a pink tutu skirt. “She is beautiful! You are very good at this, a true artist!” I smiled, sitting on the blue sofa, right besides Dalilah, she quacked at me but didn’t try to bite. Maybe the feathered mess recognized me even with this glamour. “I hope you don’t mind. She doesn’t bite if you don’t come too close or try to pet her.” Julia motioned to the duck, comfortably lying on a red pillow.
