"The main building is heavily guarded by thirty full-blood guards at all times." I stepped up to the table, leaning over the blueprint, my eyes narrowing as I recognized the familiar hallways I used to walk through. "The dungeons are located in the sub-level basement, right here," the strategist continued, tapping a small room marked with red ink. "There is only one main stone staircase leading down to those cells." "What about the outer perimeter guards?" I asked, looking at the layout analytically. "They have watchtowers every fifty yards along the southern border fence," the strategist answered. "If we send a quiet infiltration squad through the old underground drainage tunnels, we can sl

I knew that the boss was going to be the King Centaur, which is why the area is enclosed the way it was. It was just like a fence that would keep horses in, except it was much taller, and we couldn’t see over it. Even if I flew up to peak over the fence, I wouldn’t be able to see anything. This game was designed to not allow players a chance to see inside a dungeon and get an unfair advantage. “Sounds good to me.” Luka shrugged.

"Do not open this door for anyone except Dante or me. Do not leave unless the building is literally collapsing. Understand?" "What about you?" "I need to help with the defense." She checked a weapon I hadn't realized she was carrying. "Lock the door behind me. The code to open it from inside is 4-7-2-9. Do not forget it." She left, the door closing with a solid thunk. I punched in the code, hearing locks engage. Then I was alone in the reinforced silence. The monitors showed multiple feeds. I could see the main club floor where Dante's wolves were pushing the attackers back. Could see the basement levels where more fighting raged. Could see exterior cameras showing wolves prowling outside, w

On the altar, the lady in blue was at a loss. "Don't be afraid!" "Watch your mind and do your best!" As soon as he finished speaking, one of the men in teal suddenly struck out a rune, increasing the power of the defensive formation. Another man with a long beard also took out a jade pendant and a magic treasure. He shot out a light beam to maintain the formation intact. This jade pendant Dharma treasure was a defensive treasure that had reached the Secondary Divine Artifact level. For a moment, they managed to resist all the attacks.

we make our way towards the south of the castle where the passage that led to the dungeons lay. Silently we walk the length of the passage and reach the heavy double doors that open up to a dim staircase. “It seems secure enough, but prevention is better than lamentation,” Headmistress Meraldrar comments. “So, I will be enchanting the dungeons to keep out any creature of magic out. May I inquire about the security measures in place aside from the silver bars?” “We’ve got electronic security systems in place with CCTV cameras installed to capture every possible angle of the dungeons. There are also basic security wards in place. Aside from that, we’ve got about thirty guards patrolling the pa

One we have no choice but to endure. "How's security?" I ask the two of them. "The last of the demon fighters have been captured. All in an enchanted part of the Alpha's Dungeon. Every other thing seems good. My men have eyes on every corner of the pack. Surveillance is now placed even in subways and short alleys." Dion offers. "Security is good." Bones adds. "We're working together with Dion's men. So my men have eyes everywhere. We still have the dome in place. The barrier is up too. So the pack is ironclad"

Damien inquired. "There’s a core inside," Kyle explained, pointing to the schematics he’d mapped out. "If we demolish it, the entire network will collapse. But the defenses here... they’re off the scales." "Then we fight our way through," Damien said coldly. "Like we always do."
