ALPHA GREGOR POV
"I demand to know where the hell I am!" I growled at the girl shaking helplessly at the doorway.
I sat upright on the bed naked from the waist up. My heavy chest and back were bandaged from all the injuries I'd sustained during the attack. The girl holding the cup had walking in at the same moment I got up. My confusion and her panic filled the whole room with a thick mist.
Some of the water from the cup in her grip spilt from how badly she was shaking. I felt bad for her but I was too disoriented to care if my demeanour gave her a friggin heart attack. She could burst into flames and I would be indifferent.
"We, the uhm-" she stuttered.
Her clumsiness and my confusion enraged me to the point I could feel stress marks appear on my temple. It was obvious she was as clueless as I was.
"Get me, someone who knows something," I said with a grimace. "Be quick about it!" I bawled enjoying her reaction to my outbursts. There was never a wrong time to strike fear into the heart of the weak.
She stumbled off just as I knew she would while I tried to familiarize myself with my strange surrounding. Judging by the decoration and the quality of the bed frame, the sheets and even the rug on the floor, I'd say whoever had the place was no stranger to wealth.
I searched my memories in an attempt to see if I would be able to remember anything I might have missed about my attack. I did not doubt that I had somehow been rescued and I was currently in the base of my rescuer. The fact that everything in the room looked strange to me could only mean that whoever had rescued me wasn't a member of my pack.
I had to be careful or else I'd find myself in a bigger problem than the one I had just gotten out of. Just then, a faint memory grazed my mind. The strange scent I had picked up before it all went dark. What was that about? I thought as my thick brows furrowed in concentration.
"Finally you're up."
I had been so lost in my thoughts to notice the old man who had somehow managed to walk into the room without making a noise. He stood remarkably erect and something about his fluid steps gave le the impression that he was somehow levitating.
"And who are you?" I raised a questioning brow at him.
There was something about his greying hair, his wrinkled flesh, and his aura that gave him a sage vibe. There was a hidden smile just at the corner of his lips.
"How are you feeling?" He asked completely ignoring my questions.
I hate when my questions are being ignored and this old sage-looking creep had done it without breaking a sweat. Even in my current state, I could easily snap his neck, whip out his spine and fashion it into a cane as a gift to another wise man.
"I asked a question, gramps," I growled.
He snickered as if I had somehow transformed into a jester. Keeping my anger at bay was proving to be the hardest thing in the world to do at that moment but I knew I had to maintain my cool if I was to get the information I needed while keeping my head attached to my neck. There was no doubt in my mind that they would turn violent the moment they knew who I was.
The old man walked over to a table and pulled out a drawer. Within the drawer were several vials. He pulled one out, examined the content, and nodded his approval before closing the drawer then he glided towards me.
"Here." He stretched the vial to me with its purple liquid.
I watched the thick liquid with an intense glare. My instincts alerted me to the fact that whatever the purple liquid was, it would taste like the ass of a wildebeest. I refused to accept the vial from him even though he insisted upon it.
"It's a very powerful herbal mix." He sighed after a while.
"I don't give a fuck if it was made from water gotten from the fountain of life. Just keep your evil-tasting liquids from me."
"So it's about the taste." He snickered.
"Hell ya, it's about the taste." I fired back at him.
He sighed. "I wonder why she went through all the trouble just to rescue you."
She?
Something about what he just said made me remember the strange yet familiar scent I had picked up back then. My wolf urged me to hide my scent. Even though I didn't like the idea, I knew he had a point. If they knew I was Alpha Gregor, they would become hostile and I might never get the chance to find out about the scent.
I merged my mind with my inner wolf's and together we covered our scent till it gave off the familiar lowly tinge of an Omega.
"Who is this 'she' you speak of," I asked in a calm tone. I had to do everything necessary to know what happened.
He waved my question off with a gesture. I knew it was going to be hard to trick this old geezer.
"Who are you?" He asked with a serious glint in his eyes.
Just then the door opened. It was clear they didn't teach them to knock. Bunch of savages, I thought bitterly. It was one of the reasons our packs were in constant hostility.
A woman walked in. Her hair was so dark it reminded me of ravens. Immediately she entered, her purple eyes went soft as she turned towards me. A touch of worry creased her brow. There was something oddly familiar about her.
"You're up." She said with a smile. Her smile could make any madman recover his sanity.
I gasped at her and nodded, unable to speak.
"I'm Eleanor. I'm the-"
The old man moved forward with a scowl cutting her short and said, "We shouldn't be so gentle with him. I don't trust this one."
She ignored his words. "It's fine Ladrius. That will be all."
I turned to him with a smirk. His face turned red seeing the look of satisfaction on mine. Yeah Ladrius, that will be all. Now get lost! I thought.
He bowed and then walked out of the room shutting the door behind him.
The woman walked to the bed where I sat for the last hour. She took a spot beside me smiling at me as she did so.
"Hope you don't mind." She asked.
I told her I didn't.
We stared at each other and I felt drawn to her in a way I couldn't explain. It was as if my very essence was being pulled out of me and I felt a sharp pain hit my chest.
I bent over holding my side wincing in agony. What the fuck was going on?!
"Are you hurt? What's happening?" She asked getting worried.
She leaned over and touched my shoulders trying to see if I was bleeding from my side. The moment her skin came in contact with mine, I knew it. I sensed the strange scent.
I knew she was my mate...
Eleanor POVAfter the event we went home, on getting home I was hoping to be in the hands of my mate or possibly have a taste of him when I remember he has not rested from the journey he went on.I became angry at myself for being selfish at this moment. Surprisingly, he picked me up in a bridal style. My anger vanished into thin air as I crossed my hands around his neck."How about making a mini us." He asked, as he teased my nose with his.I was so ashamed to answer him as I buried my head on his neck cranny after nodding my head slightly. We entered his room and he placed me gently on the bed like a gentleman that he is.He kissed me and I responded hungrily. I have been starving since he went on his journey and this is the time I want to be filled with his passionate love making. He gently unzipped my dress as he tasted my neck with his tongue, digging his cannie into the exact mark on my neck he made last Time. Throwing my cloth on one side of the room as he stared at me only in
Alpha Gregory.I was surprised at how my mate got here before me. I turned to search for the voice that spoke to me but I was in for another surprise.I stared at the image of my mate being chained on her two hands sideways with a wide animal that kept going in circles. I tried not to fight the animal as I was looking for a way to break the chain. I felt a sharp pain on my stomach then it happened that the alligator used his tail to wipe me on my stomach then he snarled at me.The pain was beyond ordinary, I waited a little bit for the pain to reduce but it seems the pain on my stomach would be permanent.I hit my hand on the floor facing the huge alligator, my eyeball turned to that of my wolf same as my finger turned to that of my claws. We kept moving in circles till I jumped on his back digging my claws into his neck that had no sharp edges.Out of pain the alligator hit his body on the floor with much pressure which made me fly higher hitting my back on the wall which made me s
Eleanor POV.I was confused on how I would start addressing them but I know I will have to do it anyway I can. I stood before the hefty warriors and began to speak."This may not be our last fight but definitely it will be for some of us, we are going to fight as one body not as individuals." I said, staring at them before I continued."Use tonight to spend some memorable time with your loved ones, the moment we are out of here then we are facing our death without thinking about anyone at home. It is a fight for freedom, for our family and for ourselves at large." I shouted at the top of my lungs, raising my hands up."Any questions?" I asked the moment I stopped addressing them."We heard that Alpha Jax never loses a fight without tricks. How are we going to overcome that without losing to him?" One of the warriors asked, after raising his hands up. I didn't think about that part for a moment so there was no answer I could give at that moment to ease the tension grewing in their mid
Alpha JaxI yelled at my guard, none of them were able to replied instantly they all bowed their head, I went to were they were kneeling raising the head of Ken by using my finger to raise his jaw up."Why did you come back without completing the mission?" I asked angrily."The whole place was deserted, we couldn't find anyone so we burnt their houses after searching everywhere for them." Ken answered.I was happy they didn't return without doing anything. At least something was done. Let's see how they would be able to cope when they find out that their houses have been burnt to ashes.I dismissed all of them, I went to inspect everything going on for the preparation of the war. Everything was all intact, those training were training so hard, those making the sword and the rest were equally doing it as well.Being satisfied with everything going, I decided to go for a run on my four legs because it has been long. I went for a run so I ran as my feet can take me into the woods. When I
Kyle POVI placed my lip on her inorder to make her calm which I achieved. When she got herself she pushed me away from her, sitting down on the seat as she tapped her feet on the floor.I stared at her like a lost puppy. I was confused about letting her be or persuading her to understand me but if she blew my cover of where I kept those missing people I won't blame her.I refreshed myself, dressed up and she was still in that mood. Will she ever come out from the shock of what she saw earlier? Therefore I went to her, raising her chicks up and keeping an eye contact with her without blinking."Diana, you have not said anything since we arrived." I tried to make conversation with her."I don't have anything to say to you besides you would end up doing what is in your mind. Tell me what is the point of talking to you?" She yelled.I understand her pain, anyone in her position will do the same, I hope she won't run away from me because of this. My wolf was silent all through this period
Eleanor POVI was covered with kisses by Maria, despite trying to make her stop she refused. She held my hands firmly and I began to imagine myself and my mini me.I was surprised at my own thoughts, not for once has it ever crossed my mind. The day my mom once mentioned about it, I flamed up but here the feeling is heavenly that I wished everything would end soon. There was a woman and a man standing before whom I believe Should be their parents. I raised my head up meeting their eyes which they remove by bowing their head."There is no need for you to stand here watching us, join others in the room, dining would be served as soon as possible." I said, smiling at them."We are grateful for your kind gesture and we didn't know how to appreciate you even in the future." Ezekiel's father muttered in appreciation."I am happy you are here with your family, that is what matters a lot, I don't want you to think much or blame yourself for not being able to defend your family as the man of t
