I shuddered as a cold breeze drifted in from the gaping hole that was the other side of the Game Master’s training room. The platform that overlooked the churning sea was covered in symbols and lines, twisting, and arcing to form a ring around the very center.
Watching his hand all too intently, tracing his long fingers with my eyes, the Game Master waved his hand. In a rush, all the chilly air was sucked from the room, hurled out and over the cliff. Pages of open books ruffled, sending the scent of old leather scattering into the air. The chill was gone, replaced by a gentle warmth
