The Billionaire's Creed

The Billionaire's Creed

“I missed you.” I thought I just gasped. I blinked away the emotions impending to let out. “I missed you too, buddy. Don’t worry, I’m seeing you soon.” “Have you seen New York?” Adley asked. “He heard of it. I told him his daddy’s home, and work is in New York.” “That’s great. How would you like to visit New York, Jax?” He just smiled and nodded. “Your mommy and I are gonna talk about this, okay?”

Absolutely loving this book!!! I haven’t finished it yet, but I have no doubt I will thoroughly enjoy it to the end! I started the book was a ’freebie’ but I will gladly pay to finish it. I will also be back to read the author’s other works.

A Deal With Desire

A Deal With Desire

It smelled expensive here—like leather, steel and the kind of silence that could make your skin crawl. Maybe it did. Adele stepped into the penthouse feeling like a trespasser, every inch of marble and glass reminding her that she didn't belong. She took a deep breath as her eyes focused on Julian's. He wore a white polo shirt with ‘I LOVE NYC’ printed across its chest and dove gray sweatpants. Strands of dark brown hair flopped into his face when he turned his neck. His strong jawline was matted with small specks of hair.

I'll give this book an 11/10. This is excellence showing. It tells the story of Adeline, a woman struggling with a scarred past who marries her childhood crush and bully after drunk-kissing him at a party. Celeste, Julian's ex wife and mother of his child, shows up to stand as an hedge between them.

 NELLIE AND NAOMI

NELLIE AND NAOMI

Adam replied, “Hello, Adel. How are you?” Adel said, “Fine.” Then he looked at Naomi and said, “Good evening, Mrs. Naomi.” Naomi smiled and replied, “Good evening, Adel. Sit down.” Adel sat beside them on the sand. Adam asked, “How is Mrs. Nelly?” Adel replied, “She’s fine.” Naomi said, “And why are you walking on the beach alone? Is there a disagreement between you?” Adel answered, “No, nothing. Her foot still hurts from walking—that’s all.”

The high-pitched chime of my cellphone went off, drowned out by the chatter in the diner. “See, that’s probably him.” Adley chuckled, giving me a humorous smirk as she scanned the menu with her eyes. I fished my phone out of my pocket and scoffed at her. I had been meeting Aiden at Stella’s diner for the last five years, every Tuesday and Thursday without fail. Shortly after Adley moved here, she joined us each time we went. While I had memorized the menu years ago, Adley insisted on reading it through each time, as if it would ever change.

Amy
Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

Reclaiming His Runaway Baby Mama

Reclaiming His Runaway Baby Mama

Adela didn’t want to feel like she owed him anything more than she already did. The weather in New York had improved that day. The sun was warm but not overpowering, and a slight breeze ruffled the hem of Adela’s simple dress. A newspaper clutched in her hand, she walked down the street, scanning for the address she’d circled in ink. “It should be around here somewhere,” she muttered, squinting up at the buildings. The address in the classified section had promised a job opening at an advertising agency, but the rundown appearance of the neighborhood didn’t exactly inspire confidence.

Billionaire's Famous Lawyer Ex-Wife

Billionaire's Famous Lawyer Ex-Wife

Still, conversation slowly chipped away at the wall between them, and little by little, the hostility faded. As they neared New Jersey, the canopy of night thickened overhead. Streetlights flickered on, mirroring a sea of stars in the inky sky. The night in the coastal city felt extraordinarily gentle. The air was clean and clear, and the stars shone brighter than in New York. Adriana asked softly, “Are we staying in New Jersey tonight?” This time, Calvin didn’t snap at her. “Yeah. We’ll stay in the city.” “Oh.” Once off the highway, Calvin drove straight to the beach, all the way to an open-air sea-bathing area.

Adaline entered the office and sat on the couch, she looked around his office and saw how neat it was but the table was piled up with files to show how busy Drew was. A minute passed and Justin returned with a lady holding a tray with a cup on it. "Juice for you, please hold on a bit and Drew would return, have a nice time miss Adaline." And he left with the woman who was a working staff in the kitchen department.
