I looked down at my child for a second before looking up at him. “I, Arianna De Mori, reject you, Alpha Dean Ivanov, as my mate and Alpha.” I said, ignoring the clench that I felt in my chest as I held onto my baby. I looked down at my princess, expecting Dean to say something different. My wolf whimpered in pain, but I held my ground as I realized that he wasn’t going to fight for me. Diana's outbreak should have reached the maximum of what he had ever witnessed, so that he could make that expression of someone who really doesn't know what to do anymore.
