How did it happen? The usual way. They say, there is no fool like a fool with initiative. I can confirm that. Yet, there is an even worse idiot: a crowned one, with rich imagination and initiative. Now, this is a terrible combination-a real disaster-and that's what my uncle was like. How did I turn out to be a half-demon? Don't ask me stupid questions. A half-demon is born when one of the parents is human and the other is a demon. You say that's obvious? So what do you want to know? Ah, how could a human meet a demon? Fine. I'll tell you my story-from the very beginning.

I can’t stop hearing the demon’s word. Asha’ren… I swallow hard and grab another book, this one bound in cracked leather. The cover flakes under my touch. I open it carefully, scanning the pages. Symbols, rituals, and warnings. But none of it matches what I saw. None of it explains why demon arms rose from the ground to protect me, or why a demon spoke to me, or why I’ve been hearing that word in my dreams. I flip deeper into the book. A sketch catches my eye, and my breath stutters.

If I died, she would too. I hugged her tightly. I cried in her arms like a boy again. Three days later, Thanatos sent a messenger—a black-winged demon. He handed me a black notebook and a small box. "What’s this?" I asked. "A gift," the demon said. "Eat the pearl. It will help you forget her." I hesitated. I looked at the box, at the swirling darkness inside the pearl. Then I swallowed it. I have to forget her. Everything vanished. Her scent. Her voice. Her name. A void replaced the pain, but it left a hollow ache.

Bahm Inside of the Demon Realm, Hunnie did her normal squeezing of my arm thing, standing in place trembling, and breathing very roughly. Her hands were on her chest as it looked like she played with an invisible necklace and her eyes were wide as she took in the slimy and alive, flesh covered bridge. She says it's the negative and dark aura around the bridge that makes her freeze in fear. Eventually she overcomes this state, and begins chanting to her self, while laying about materials she's collected and brought with her.

I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

Wonder if I have any powers? *Ember* I run my hand over the books in my workroom searching for a specific one. "Ah ha." I grab a book with a dark crimson cover and gold lettering from the shelf. "Demons and Hell" is written across the cover. I grab some paper, my feather and my ink before I sit down on a chair. I open the book and start reading. "There are three classes of demons known to humankind. The classes are as follows: the lowest level are the Vermin Class followed by the Common Class and lastly are the Royalty Class.

He slightly patted me on the back. "Maybe he's a victim of your brother," Theodore suggested. Nonsense. When Daemon was reborn as Cole Giles, I waited until a few months ago to have him murdered. His spirit couldn't be possessing random people. He was half werewolf and demon, not a full demon at that. "That sounds like a load of bull. He has other intentions.
