I shout, marching over to rip her a new one. As I lock eyes with the woman, a shiver runs down my spine. She appears to be in her twenties, with flowing black hair and piercing white eyes that seem to glow. She's wearing a simple, black maxi dress with a low neckline that highlights her fair, generous figure. I can sense everyone's aura in here but hers. A wave of recognition washes over me, causing me to freeze in place. It's her. It's the Moon Goddess. Or at least the form she has taken.

Jayden whispers in shock. My head is pounding and I feel dizzy. Tara is Keturah, the moon goddess. The woman who has been helping me all this while is the moon goddess? I always knew she was different, but it never occurred to me. “Keturah, blessed goddess, mother of our kind, it's an honour to have you in our midst”, Kreed says, going one knee. Everybody in the room does the same including, Jayden. I keep sitting, trying my best to see through the tears that have clouded my vision.

"You seem like you have a lot on your chest lately. Something you need to get off your mind?" "Oh, no," she replied, her voice smooth and condescending, a thin veneer of politeness masking the venom beneath. "I'm perfectly fine. I'm just wondering," she continued, her tone dripping with mock curiosity, "why the goddess would make that kind of mistake, choosing a low-born like you to be her vessel. It seems...uncharacteristic, wouldn't you agree?"

Her deep black hair and dark caramel skin made her look very exotic, though I couldn’t place where she might be from. “Thank you, what’s your name?” “My apologies, I am Venus, my Goddess” she said and bowed with her hand over her heart. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Venus”. The next woman through the door was just as intimidating as Elaine. Tall, large and with very serious dark eyes. “My Goddess, I am Cleo. I offer you my loyalty, my servitude, and my life when you require it” she said firmly, her voice was rough and held a wildness to it.

No one dared to act rashly. It had been a long time since the Novem Skies had produced a new god of war. That was why things had ended up like this. Just as the situation fell into a stalemate, my wife and sister-in-law arrived. My wife was Nerissa Loden, and she was the goddess of water. My sister-in-law, Aurelia Ignis, was the goddess of fire. “Showing off and appearing exotic is presumably why you have such an intricate design across your skin?” “What?! No! This is a symbol of Yhieris!” “Yhieris?” The man tilted his head slightly to the side in confusion. “Yhieris, my goddess. She’s the goddess of the Moon and Stars.” And Daiyans, he thought to himself but wasn’t about to add that bit out loud.

Sean muttered, groaning tiredly under his breath, “...there's a difference. Proserpina is the daughter of Hades. She’s the goddess of shadows: keeper of death, princess and only heir of the underworld.” “There's a new goddess?” “What the hell, Sean?” Alastor fumed, resisting the childish urge to stomp his feet, “Why the fuck didn't I know any of this?!” Sean glared angrily at him, “Oh, I don’t know Al, maybe because you should try attending pack meetings for once, you dimwit?!” Alastor bit his lower lip, guilty, “W-Whatever, man. Just… just put my shoulder back in place right now!”
