My Endless Sorrow
The kindergarten was full of children—some lively and cheerful, others still crying for their mothers.
We couldn’t help but laugh at the sight.
Linking arms with me, she reminisced, “When your mother first brought you here, you sat perfectly still, so well-behaved.
“Only when she returned did we realize you'd been fighting back tears the whole time. Even then, I knew you were special – such a determined little soul."
I spent a few days at the kindergarten, working as a temporary teaching assistant. With her encouragement, I decided to get my teaching certification.
