Joshua gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear before kneeling beside her. "Go ahead, Sheila. Make your wish." Looking at the hopeful faces surrounding her, Sheila folded her hands and slowly closed her eyes. "My first wish… I hope my legs recover as soon as possible. "My second wish… I hope the rest of my life will be filled with freedom and happiness. "My third wish… I hope the people I never want to see again will disappear from my world forever." Thunderous applause filled the ballroom. To everyone else, her wishes seemed unremarkable. Only Joshua and Max understood their meaning, and the smiles on their faces faltered.

Elodie Standing near the cooker, I stir slowly at the pot, the steam rising around my face though my mind is filled. Mostly I wish for people to change but I also know that wishes are losing games, and if it were to be horses, beggars would ride on it, and I'd be far away from this mess I’m facing. That mistakes and battles don't matter; the only thing that truly matters is the ability to rise together. And there is nothing more wonderful than being in love. She just see everything she see as a toy and she loves to mess around with their so called 'Wish' Her wish are to destroy the world but sadly her power is not capable enough to do that. But when she sensed the power from the rift she became ecstatic, if she could absorb that power then her wish will finally be fulfilled. And when she saw it first hand, she become more assured that this man in front of her is the key to her wish. Alas she underestimated the man and she can't took him down no matter what she did. You know, I’d like to brush your hair when things go ugly, as in when a tsunami hits the seawall and there’s no one to fix your hair out of fear. I will celebrate your eyes’ uncalculated blink as it might change the season from tinder-parched mornings to being 84 and still writing you poems. ALIYAH’s POV If wishes were horses, a beggar would ride one, they say. I wished the floor could open up and consume me that minute as I stared at the semi lifeless body. The whole memory of my friend and my lover replayed in my head and I felt so bad. I had been so gullible and foolish. My whole life had been a lie. The people I called my friends and centered my whole life around had turned my life to a joke.

They all said one after the other and lay in the grass. “If you all could make a wish upon a star, what would that wish be?” I asked, and they looked thoughtful. “For my loved ones to be safe.” The first one said. “I'd wish to lead a beautiful life with no regrets.” “I don't want to be confined to the palace alone. I want to see other things.” “I would like to be recognized for my efforts in everything I do.” When they were done saying their wishes, I smiled. “I hope to repay some people in their coin, and I want a happy family. I want everything I never got to enjoy.” I said, then raised myself slightly, using my elbows for support. “What are your names?”
