Whitney opened her eyes, feeling thirsty and her throat still throbbing with pain. She did not look at Henry, but at the nurse standing at the side. "Can I trouble you for a glass of water?"
"You're awake, Whitney." Henry immediately took the glass of water from the nurse's hand when he heard her voice, and he held it to Whitney's lips. However, she refused to let him feed her the water, and she took the glass from his hand instead to drink from it. It was only when the cool liquid flowed down her throat that she fi
