Echoes of a Vanished Love

Echoes of a Vanished Love

Cecilia hugged me and said comfortingly, "Alright. Let's not think about such depressing things anymore now that you're home. It's just a diamond necklace. I'll buy you a few more accessories tomorrow, enough that you can just wear a different one every day." I burst into laughter, the sadness that I'd felt from ruminating on the past had washed away slightly. I had a good sleep that night. ... The next day, I suddenly received a bunch of missed calls from an unknown number. I had a habit of turning on airplane mode when I slept. The moment I turned it off, I started hearing notification sounds for over 99 missed calls. A second later, my phone rang, and I tentatively chose to answer the cal

Echoes of Requiem

Echoes of Requiem

The deep, echoing hum of the Citadel Obsidian’s core systems was unsettling, almost suffocating in its vastness. Eva and Ryder moved through the labyrinthine hallways, their footsteps synchronized with the rhythmic pulse of the facility. The sterile walls of the Citadel seemed to close in on them, amplifying the weight of their mission. The air was cool, filled with the scent of metal and something faintly chemical—something that felt too controlled, too cold.

Forbidden never felt this good

Forbidden never felt this good

As we walked away from the yard, something tugged at the back of my mind. A sensation. Like standing at the edge of a vast, dark lake after draining it and realizing the ground beneath wasn’t empty, just exposed. I paused. Elliot noticed immediately. “Cassie?” “I feel it,” I said quietly. Marcus turned. “Feel what?” I pressed a hand to my chest. “Echoes,” I whispered. “Not control. Not voices. Just… impressions. Like memories that aren’t mine.” Marcus’s expression darkened. “Residual imprint.”

THE DUKE'S FORBIDDEN PROPHECY

THE DUKE'S FORBIDDEN PROPHECY

Quiet does not settle in once the lips part. Noise rushes in, loud and uninvited. A sound built from heartbeats that echo too hard, glances stretched past their limit, memories crashing down without warning. His flavor stays present, fingers remembered in my hair, the pressure of his body pinning me near the shelf - something unseen now lives inside, vibrating low and constant.

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

Neither approach had worked. Because neither had stayed. Neither had remained beside it when the pain surfaced. The eye trembled. The darkness convulsed. Fragments of memory erupted across the horizon. A silver field. Ancient laughter. Hands reaching toward one another. A solitary figure standing at the edge of the gathering. Watching. Waiting. Wanting. The memory sharpened. Closer. Closer. A voice echoed through the vision. Warm. Gentle. Calling to someone. Calling a name. The Silence recoiled violently.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Then: "The city creates echoes." Nobody understood. Then Ava frowned. Immediately. Then: "What is an echo?" Seraphine pointed toward the figure. Then: "A memory." The battlefield fell silent. Then: "The kingdom remembers everyone who enters it." Pause. Then: "The powerful." Then: "The broken." Then: "The lost." The wind howled across the city. Then: "Sometimes those memories become real." Lily stared at the figure. Her hands shaking. Then: "No." Then:

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

No Echoes After Midnight

No Echoes After Midnight

My phone rang, pulling me out of the memory. Marissa looked at me. Maybe she thought there was no point hiding it from me anymore, so she answered right there in the car.

BOUND BY CONTRACT

BOUND BY CONTRACT

If I could just turn back time but it wouldn't. The echoes of past experiences, whether joyous or painful, tend to reverberate in the corridors of memory, leaving a subtle but indelible mark on the journey forward. It is the familiar scent that lingers in the air, the faint whisper that tugs at the heartstrings, and the bittersweet nostalgia that colors the present with a sense of wistful reflection.

ECHOES OF LOVE

ECHOES OF LOVE

"I am giving you time, what do you want to talk about Liam? What do we have together that you want to talk about? Have you lost your mind or something? Why are you suddenly interested in talking to me that you came all the way from New York? Did your memories suddenly return? I highly doubt that's the case so what do you want?" Jordan yelled at him, he kept quiet, what could he say? Jordan just said it, and he couldn't bring himself to say the words, he watched as Jordan's eyes widened in realization. "Wait? That's can't be it right? It's been months so there is no way you actually have all your memories back right? Ain't no way, I googled it and it was mentioned that the longer it takes, th

The Cursed Luna's Return

The Cursed Luna's Return

The River of Echoing Souls The forest was unnaturally still—so still that Luna could hear her own breathing echo in her ears as she strolled between Rowan and Kai, her fingertips grazing the luminous riverbank. The River of Echoing Souls sparkled like flowing moonlight, bending and undulating as if something beneath it was stirring. Each surface mirrored faded memories, faces floating like fog, emotions locked in time—and all of them felt achingly familiar. Luna gulped. “I can’t stand this place already.”
