Kingdom of Ash and Blood

Kingdom of Ash and Blood

Final Scene In the shadows of the airfield, Sofia handed Mateo the final key — a data drive labeled MIRROR. “It’s done,” she said. “They’ll move tonight.” Mateo smiled faintly. “Good. Then by dawn, the Queen will learn the truth.” He turned to face the runway as lightning split the sky, his reflection flickering in the puddles below. “The empire dies with her name,” he said. “And rises with mine.” The camera light blinked red — transmitting live. Straight to Amara’s war room. Final Line: “Every empire falls — but only by the hands that built it.”

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

"This is why I need her." .... Marcus drew his weapon. "What is that?" "An Echo," Emma whispered. "A fragment of Grimkeeper himself. A piece of his soul." The Echo turned its gaze to her. "Child of mine," it said in a voice layered with a thousand screams. "You have come to the altar of your undoing." Long shifted, preparing to attack, but Emma raised her hand. "No. Let me speak to it." She stepped forward, facing the Echo. "I am not your child. And this is not your world to claim."

Ravens of Eternity

Ravens of Eternity

“Of course, amidst this disparity, the empire was solidifying its foothold on the colonies seated at the edge of the Throne system. Of course, it had been done through the use of obscene force and violent power.” The image switched again, this time to that of a blasted landscape. The skies were far from blue or even gray. They were dark from the thick clouds of smoke that continually poured into the air. And the horizon was red from the fires that consumed it. The quality of the recording was the worst of the three. It was shaky, incredibly scratchy, and skipped numerous frames. As a result, the drogar on it seemed robotic and unnatural and inhuman in their movements. Not that they did much.

By the title itself, it was already something that would hook anyone immediately. And after reading a few chapters, indeed it was great. I really love reborn books/novels and I am not disappointed one bit at all! Love the Mc by the way.

Echoes in the Ashes

Echoes in the Ashes

The Empire's Ashes The wind, a continual reminder of the fall of the empire, murmured through the ruins. With her leather-clad fingers digging amid the ruins of a once-immensity palace, Zara knelt down. In the early morning light, the tall, hollow and cracked marble columns loomed above her, creating long, skeletal shadows. The smell of smoke, of something long burned and forgotten, filled the air. Even though she had been scrounging here for days, the scene remained the same: rusted weaponry, shattered statues, and the remains of a grandeur that had long since lost its significance.

 The Luna's Promise

The Luna's Promise

The air was still cold, the temperature having dropped significantly due to the Echo Wraith. The Echo Wraith is a haunting presence within the Cavern of Eternal Echoes, a place known for its labyrinthine complexity and the disturbing resonance of every sound. It glides silently through the caverns, leaving behind a trail of maddening echoes. These echoes are warped, amplified distortions that play on the deepest insecurities and fears of those who hear them. They take on the voices of the damned, whispering hidden regrets and unconfessed sins, often blending them with a cacophony of falsehoods to disorient and unsettle their victims.

ECHOES OF TRUTH

ECHOES OF TRUTH

I heard Émilie's voice; it sounded so far away. I was about to answer when a cold hand covered my mouth, and quickly, an arm was wrapped around my waist. I screamed, but the sound was trapped in the hand. I struggled to free myself, but it was useless; I was being dragged into the darkness. Only one word kept repeating in my mind...

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

But that only enhances what is wrong. "Your Empress" ripples weakly through the vaulted chamber, uneven and delayed, like an echo that's lost its way. Voices are missing entirely—mouths that should speak stay sealed. Others sound distracted, performing rather than respectfully. No swell of sound that once made me feel held by my court's regard. No weight of genuine reverence. Just hollow courtesy, brittle as old paper.

The King's Brightest Star

The King's Brightest Star

The thing held a black box that he held towards Ellis. “Nardoes,” Nin said, flickering her eyes towards Ellis. Nardoes were not part of the Empire because the nation was in a constant state of war. Logan had told her it was part of their nature. She remembered that they had poor eyesight. If one stayed motionless, they could almost disappear in front of these creatures. “Which of you is the Empress?” he asked, his mouth clicking as he spoke. “I am,” Nin pronounced. Ellis turned to her with wide eyes. “Ni—”

So why does this book deserve more than 5 stars? To start off, the story is refreshing, it is beautifully written! No wolf, no dragons or mafia’s and CEO’s that I honestly have grown tired of. So this is new and uniquely written and I have to commend the amazing ability of the author to(part1)
