The 100-DAY ECHO

The 100-DAY ECHO

He tilted my head back, exposing the line of my throat. "I want you to look at me," Silas confessed, his voice breaking on the final word. "I want you to look at me the way you did three years ago. I want to know you're still in there." He brought his mouth down onto mine. It wasn't a punishing, territorial assault like the kiss at the gala. It was absolute, heartbreaking devastation. His lips parted mine with a starving, aching desperation. He kissed me like a man who was pouring three years of unspoken grief, regret, and terrifying realization into a single moment.

MARKED BY MY STEPBROTHER

MARKED BY MY STEPBROTHER

This was something that would definitely growl back at us. “Explain,” Damon ordered, waiting for a response. Marcus stepped fully onto the balcony, keeping his voice down so the pack below wouldn’t catch every word. “They’re not physical at first. The old texts the elders dug up say the Echoes are... leftovers. Pieces of the very first gods that shattered during some ancient war no one remembers. When the Convergence cracked reality, it woke them. They don’t attack with claws or fangs. They attack with memory. Doubt. They make you question everything you believe, your mate, your pack, and even your own strength.”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Her silver hair danced in the cold wind sweeping through the avenue. Behind her, the other echoes remained motionless. Waiting. Thomas swallowed hard. "What do you mean?" His voice sounded small. The old woman smiled sadly. "The City of Echoes was created to preserve possibility." The sky rumbled above them. A distant crack split through the silver heavens. Yet she continued speaking. "As long as possibility existed, we existed." Thomas frowned. "And now?" The smile faded. "Now possibility is ending." A terrible silence followed. The words settled over the group like falling snow.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Echoes of the Fractured Bond

Echoes of the Fractured Bond

The cumulative history of continued speech began to feel like a debt already partially collected. The unified architecture no longer only converted each present pulse of external origin into fuel for the failsafe. It began framing the entire record of every transmission we had forced through the residual link every second of refusal, every restoration of origin, every held fracture as a running account the programming was already drawing against. The residual spark still answered us. It still refused the system-reactive loop. It still held the fracture. And the dual pressure was now making the sum of our past speech feel like a debt whose partial collection was already irreversible, with eve

CHIBI WRITES
Tbh, this one got me addictive as hell!!! But it’s how Elara is a heroine but this rare resonator whose body literally holds the key to saving them, I mean Alpha Kael though? Captures her that got me so addictive for real to this master piece!!!
Blairsen
Okay WTH do you mean that sexual intercourse is now a way of protection, eh Kael. Okay at least it was reasonable for resonator to carry the burden of the monster she created. And just when I thought I'm gonna have a possessive love, Another alpha claims to be Resonator mate??? I'm sat for this.

Echoes of Requiem

Echoes of Requiem

Eva Blackthorn stood at the edge of the golden bridge, her heart pounding in rhythm with the soft roar of the crowds below. The ceremonial silk she wore shimmered, concealing the datapads and hidden poisons sewn into its folds. The air smelled faintly of incense, and the distant echo of trumpets signaled the approach of a new peace—one that would come at a steep price.

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

I looked at the Echo-King, who was now flickering like a dying candle. "The past isn't a place to live," I said, my voice a melodic, lethal resonance. "It’s the soil we grew from. You can keep your 'Perfect Logic', Ghost. We’ll take the scars." I raised my hands and released a Pulse of the Present. It wasn't a blast of power; it was a blast of Consequence. I showed the Echo-King the 211 chapters of struggle, the births of the twins, the deaths of the brothers, and the salt of the sea. I showed him the weight of a life actually lived.

ECHOES OF DESIRE

ECHOES OF DESIRE

Author Jaydesiredesires
She kept her eyes on Lena's back and her mind on the transmitter and tried to hold onto both. Echo was quieter up here than it had been in the stairwell, but quiet wasn't gone. She could feel it working at the edges, not the violent assault of the crowd signal but something more patient, more intimate. It had learned from the stairwell. It knew that battering them directly just made them close ranks. So now it worked differently. It sent her small things. A flash of Jax's face in the dark warehouse, the way he had looked at her when he told them about his father. The specific weight of Lena's palm against her sternum three minutes ago, holding her upright. The warmth of those memories made h

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

“It looks like that because it isn’t whole. It’s an echo. A fragment from someone who lived here long ago.” I blinked. “An echo doesn’t just stand outside windows in the middle of the night.” “They don’t usually,” she admitted. The pale shape tilted, not like it was moving on its own, but as if something unseen was nudging it imperceptibly. “Wait,” I said slowly. “Are you telling me that, sometime in the last few hundred years, some creep stood outside this exact window… and we’re just seeing a replay of it?” “Of course not,” Eira said, shaking her head. “These human echoes don’t think for themselves. They don’t notice us, and they certainly don’t watch the living.”

The Alpha Needs Adult Supervison

The black river rippled. Several bells chimed softly. Mason noticed. So did Claire. “Joy,” she whispered. The woman looked at her. “Memory.” Claire stepped forward cautiously. “Seraphine said real memory hurts the Echoes.” “Because Echoes are stolen memory.” The woman touched the black water. “I am not.” Mason looked at her. “Then what are you?” Her gaze moved toward Bramble. “What your people call the Hollow.” Bramble squeezed Mason’s fingers.

My Fated Mate

My Fated Mate

The Echo smirked, "To remind you of your failures. To show you the cost of your choices. And to ensure you never forget." As it spoke, the environment around them began to shift rapidly – scenes from their past, moments of loss, decisions they regretted. The guardians were being thrust into a whirlwind of their own history. Seraphina, her voice shaking, whispered, "It's trying to trap us in our past." Nebula, clutching her head in agony, cried out, "We need to break free!" But as they tried to resist, the Echo's power seemed to amplify, wrapping them tighter in chains of memories and regrets.
