I pushed it back and contemplated the hardest part. The window was several feet off the ground. It was narrow and wide. The only thing that really worried me was getting my head through, so I arched my neck sideways and stuck my head out the window, only scraping my ear a bit. I looked down and decided my plan was a go. I pulled my head back and considered the best way to tackle the problem of getting my entire body out on the ledge. I hiked my right leg up and out. I wiggled a little and one butt cheek popped outside. My other ass cheek hung up, so I bent double, almost kissing the knee that was still inside, and pushed back. I wiggled some more. Nothing budged.

Ace

Ace

ACE I surveyed Miranda from the corner of my eye as I drove to her apartment. She was nervous and she could deny it all she wanted but I saw it in the way her pulse hammered against her skin at the crook of her neck, in the way minuscule beads of sweat clung to her temple, and in the way she kept fidgeting or biting at her lower lip that now sported red cracks because she wouldn't stop chewing at it.

Holy smokes!! Hell of a story!! Wasn’t expecting anything less with a character like ace, though lol absolutely amazing job author! So freaking excited for the 3rd book - when will that be out? Another amazing series that’s absolutely worth the read on here!

Usually, I am a lover of werewolf/mate story lines but The Astor brother books so far are amazing! Gunnar was great however, Ace is soooo much better! The relationship between the main characters after each chapter leaves you wanting more each time you read. It is highly recommended!

We go slow and try to savour the moment before it turns rough and needy. His hands move up my back pushing me as close as possible to his body. Mine go into his hair and I tug lightly getting a groan from him. I lightly start grinding onto him just before the doorbell sounds stopping everything. I whine and slowly move away from his body. "I'll get it." I inform him. I get off of him and walk to the door. I pull it open and I am not prepared for what's on the other side. "Kera?"

The Billionaire's Secret Husband

The Billionaire's Secret Husband

Edgar went home. He neither won nor lost. When Fritz floated towards him with a knife, Edgar quickly put the knife away by kicking Fritz's hand. After being kicked several times by Elissa, Edgar realized how to boot correctly. Edgar nodded his head. Being Elissa's punching bag turned out to be helpful, too.

Game of hearts: The Ruthless Alpha and his warrior bride

Game of hearts: The Ruthless Alpha and his warrior bride

Mara said through clenched teeth. “Yes.” They’d chosen sections of the ridge. Marked them earlier with arrows. Now they were testing which ones would give under force. Smart. Very smart. A bolt struck near my feet, splintering ice and sending shards skittering across the ground. I didn’t flinch. “South edge holding?” I called. “Stable!” came the reply. “For now,” Tomas muttered. “For now is enough.” Another impact. This time, a shield cracked. Not broken.

Something soft and cool slid down my back and I arched into it. “I said, spread,” Minus growled and a sting hit my ass. I cried out as I spread my legs wider. His front hit my back and he gripped my hip. “What I have here, baby, is a riding crop. English riders use them to make their horses obey.” I bit my lip as he slid it up one thigh, then the other, before running it between my slick folds. “Oh, God,” I rasped. The crop hit my ass again and I squeaked quietly.

Groomed

Groomed

That is how I focus that is how I have survived one bloody battle after another. Tilk moves and time seems to slow down. He is charging me just like I knew he would. He swings and I dodge as if he was moving like an elder. He spins and goes to attack again, but I easily dodge out of the way. Tilk loses his footing this time and I pounce. I jab him right in the throat. I kick out his left knee as he gags and he falls to his right knee. Then I elbow the top of his head once and Tilk falls back unconscious. Time instantly returns to normal and my narrowed focus expands out once more. The crowd erupts into a frenzy and I know my time is one of the best so far.

Scarred by fate

Scarred by fate

He comes in low, driving to tackle, and we run at him, plant a foot on his bent thigh, and launch ourself over him. Twisting in mid-air, we lock our arms around his neck, knees digging into his back. Edwardo taught us a brutal move from here — a side chop to the neck that will down an opponent instantly, but it can cause a stroke or worse. Definitely not allowed today. So we go for a stranglehold instead, bending him backwards over our knees.

The Final Medical Bill

The Final Medical Bill

She threw herself after him, her bare feet tearing against the twigs and mud as she sprinted through the undergrowth. Behind them, the lead binding machine let out a deafening blast. The sound tore through the forest like a blow and the massive iron blade slammed into the earth. It scraped away the trees, the moss, the mud and the crickets. It converted the forest into a silent sheet of gray paper. The speed of the flattening was terrifying. The gray space was expanding fast, eating the world behind her. "Where are we going?" Elara screamed. "The edge of the sheet!" the man yelled back. "Every piece of paper has an edge. A place where the ink runs out and the trimmer can't reach! If we can j

Off the Ice

"You can't feel an edge-drift from the boards, Jaxson." "I can hear it," Jaxson growled low, his fingers tightening slightly against Liam's hip in a dominant, possessive squeeze. "The sound of a balanced blade is clean. If you're trailing even a fraction of a millimeter, the steel scrapes instead of cuts. Take the sheet." Liam let out a soft, misty breath that vanished into the chilly air, and stepped onto the ice.
