MARRIED TO THE DEVIL BILLIONAIRE FOR REVENGE

MARRIED TO THE DEVIL BILLIONAIRE FOR REVENGE

The email came from a senior editor at a publishing house I had heard of. Not a cold approach. She had been at the national conference in Chicago. Had heard the keynote. Had, apparently, been thinking about it for three months before she wrote to me, which I understood as a signal about the kind of person she was, someone who did not reach for things impulsively but who, once she had decided, was clear about what she wanted. She wanted a book.

Chasing The Nation's Tycoon

He breathed out a straightline, " To touch you. Can I?.. Please?" **************************** AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hi dear readers! I know that you are angry on me because I am updating almost a month later. Trust me, things were going pretty hard last month. The previous editor of my book was tested covid positive. I was waiting for her to recover but later on, she left the book halfway. I had no other way out rather than finding another suitable editor for this book. I am truly sorry! I am trying my best to update frequently this month. By the way, the heavily edited version would be released on Kindle soon as this apps don't permit us to edit the chapters.

Great explanation, thank you very much for sharing this guide with us authors. It's very helpful & will allow authors to understand what they're getting into, if they decided to become a GN author they're question we'd ask & answer we'd like to hear. This book guide is very excellent dear editors.

Answered a lot of questions I didn't even know I had, and the main one I tracked this down for. Just wish that when I submitted a book for the first time that this was a suggested read, as it would streamline a lot. Glad this exists, just wish I knew sooner.

"But you're actually wrong. My surprise for you is that I got you a book editor. Someone who will help guide you with your book." Alice's eyes widened in shock, and she looked like she was about to burst with happiness. "You said you wanted to write, and I decided to reach out to some book companies," I explained. "One of them is interested in your work, and you'll be able to start working with an editor soon. I'll set up a meeting between you two. You'll write well for me, right?" "I will write well for you," she replied, grinning and nodding her head.

Dwayne asked as we sat down at a small table in the pantry. "I've always loved books and writing," I said. "Being an editor seemed like a perfect way to combine those passions. Plus, I get to help authors make their work the best it can be. What about you?" "Pretty much the same," Dwayne said, smiling. "There's something satisfying about shaping a story and helping it reach its full potential. Plus, I love a good mystery." As we talked, I noticed more people glancing our way, their expressions curious. I couldn't help but feel a little thrill of satisfaction. My new look was definitely having an impact.

FORGOTTEN IDENTITY

FORGOTTEN IDENTITY

I thought about what I'd said to the editor of my book, years ago, about the personal and the public and the distinction between putting understanding into the world and putting a life into the world. "Can I read what you're planning to write before you decide?" I asked. She brought it to me two days later, four pages in her careful, precise handwriting, and I read it at the kitchen table the way I read everything she produced, with the full attention it deserved. It was extraordinary.

My Bestfriend's Boy

My Bestfriend's Boy

We walked together under his umbrella, the rain tapping on the fabric above us. “You’re a writer,” he said. It wasn’t a question. “How did you know?” “The way you talk about books. You don’t just read them. You study them. You take them apart and put them back together.” “That’s very perceptive.” “I’m an editor. It’s my job.” I laughed. “What do you edit?” “Literary fiction. Mostly debut authors. I like the rawness of first books. The hunger.” We talked about publishing, about the state of the industry, about the books that had changed our lives. By the time we reached my apartment, the rain had stopped.

if you're fine with all that, let's proceed! And if you're feeling so inclined to drop a comment, or vote, or follow (not sure how it works on here yet) I will try to resond in a timely manner. So far it’s amazing! Surprised to not see as many reviews on here! I see that there’s a second book to continue the story and it’s still ongoing. So have to admit that I don’t look forward to reaching the latest chap ter and having to wait for updates. I’ll be at the edge of my seat! Must read!

Enticing start. Both storyline and characters are well thought out. It is obvious that the author has it planned and written out. Just bought the first 18 of 36 chapters and wondering what the update schema is.
