Edward Leaving Bella Novels & Stories

I am the envy of every girl at Belmont Academy. The boys I grew up with—Brooks, Carter, and Harrison—have treated me like royalty since we were kids, spoiling me completely. No matter what I wanted, even if it was a lot of trouble, they always handed it to me on a silver platter. When I casually complained that prom was boring, they rented out an entire yacht for me. When my legs were sore after cheer practice and I didn't want to walk, they gave me piggyback rides across the football field. I was their princess. I was the one they pampered and spoiled, the one they adored. Naturally, I loved them just as much. I naively thought my senior prom date would simply be one of them. Until

Edward's anger caught me off guard. I stared at him, stunned. He had never blown up at me like that before. It was his promise he broke, but somehow, I was the one in the wrong. By then, my tears were beyond control, spilling one by one onto the floor. With a shaky voice, pointing to the door, I managed to say, "Leave!" Edward's expression was hard as he hesitated, not rushing to comfort me at the sight of my tears like he used to. Before he walked out, he laid it out for me. "Jennifer, you've got to see the tough spot I'm in. No matter how much of a scene you make, Chloe's the one I'll be marrying in ten days."

The silence in the hospital was ice-cold, pressing on me like a weight. Yesterday was supposed to be my wedding day. Right before we exchanged rings, Ethan got a call and just... walked out. My grandma, sitting in the front row, was so shocked she started coughing up blood. I begged for help, but all anyone did was laugh at my misery. I called Ethan again and again. No answer. By the time I got my grandma to the hospital, it was too late. She was gone. Ethan left our wedding for Bella. Even through my grief, I arranged her cremation and planned a small funeral. Just as it started, Ethan walked in—with Bella right there beside him.

“Emon.” “Where is he?” There was a beat of silence. My heart dropped. “He came by a few hours ago,” Edward finally said. “He left.” “You let him leave? In the middle of the night?” My voice rose sharply. “He doesn’t even have his phone.” “I didn’t know he left without it,” Edward replied calmly. “I didn’t stop him. He didn’t want to stay. I thought he was going back to you.” “Clearly, he didn’t,” I snapped. “He’s not here.”

Okay! “Ed, could you walk me to my class, please?” Beth said standing up, pleading him with her smile. “Course’” he stood up. I held her hand in my mine, “Babe, can’t you bunk?” Her eyes went wide and she pointed her eyes towards the rest. Shit! Kill me. I left her hand immediately and looked at them. They were looking at me, accusingly. Edward raised his brows. “Let’s go Ed” she said running to his side, grabbing his arm.

“What did you say?” Beside him, my stepmother Vesna's eyes practically glowed. “I said I'll marry the Thornwood heir who's at death's door. In exchange, we're done. Cut my name from the rolls. As of this moment, I'm no longer Silver Mane. Throw your arms wide open and welcome your mistress and her daughter into the hall. From the day you drove my mother off that cliff, I stopped wanting you for a father.” His face went a sick shade of green. “I told you, that was an accident.”

I rushed toward it, and found the maids hard at work; dusting, moving, and rearranging the furniture as if preparing the room for someone important. “What’s going on?” I asked a maid breathlessly. “Did Alpha order the guest room to be prepared?” “Why don’t you ask him yourself, Luna?” the Omega sneered. “Has he stopped speaking to you? How sad. It means your time is up, Lady Clementine is here now.” My blood ran cold. “W-what?” Her lips curled into a cruel smirk. “Alpha Maximillian's true love has moved into the packhouse.” My heart dropped into my stomach.

Bella looked at Devon. "What does he need to tell me?" she said. Devon picked up his clipboard. "Devon." "Not yet," he said. The same words. The same careful rationing. "I'm sorry, Bella. Not yet." He walked out to the garage. She stood in the center of the room alone. Not yet. Everyone in this house knew the shape of something she couldn't see. And tomorrow morning, Ethan was leaving. And he wanted to talk to her first. Tonight couldn't pass fast enough.

The bed was creaking under the force of their movements. Edward’s vision blurred with betrayal. He grabbed the man who had taken his girlfriend and they both fell to the floor. He pinned him down and rained blows on his face. The man was too stunned to fight back. “YOU BASTARD!” Edward roared, his voice filled with rage. In his emotional state, he hadn't even registered who the man in front of him was. “Oh, my God! Edward! Stop!” Alice pleaded, unable to even put on clothes, just pulling a blanket over herself in the unexpected chaos.

Cecelia’s eyes follow as Alexia left in disbelief. It wasn’t until Alexia disappears from her sight that she turns to look at Edward beside her. Her eyes become more teary. “Did Alexia… just leave?” It was only after hearing her words that Edward retracted his gaze. He glances at Cecelia coldly and does not say anything. Then, he takes a step forward and without looking back, he also walks away. Cecelia, who had wanted to provoke Edward, was stunned that he left too. Both Alexia and Edward left.
