Before his attack, he spelled my horse so it would bring me as soon as his attack on the Revolution force ended.” “What was the news?” Xavier asked, folding his arms across his chest. “Over two thousand foot soldiers of Elliott fell at the hands of Edward, and he saved the Farmers Institute of the Capital 3.” There was happiness in Olly’s voice as he made this revelation.

General commander Edward asked cunningly. Oliver paused before answering, he knew they were trying to corner him. Trying to derive a reaction out of him by calling him strange, including Vivienne, S.MMonera and others. "No sir, am okay with everything" that was all he managed to say. More questions followed and Oliver answered every question with calm precision, an even voice and measured words, showing a depth of intelligence that stunned the assembled men. Each reply was precise yet cautious, weaving observation, experience, and insight together. He confused even the king. General commander Edward tried to be at per with Oliver but all in vain.

When he came out and went to the clerk, I tiptoed to the door and entered the room before anyone could find me. Sitting on his chair, I smiled. Edward was a feral man. He was attracted to someone frail like Olive because he had never tasted the attraction of my warm body. What I could give him was beyond what Olive could. It was easy, I just needed to make him touch me and dance with the flow of my body, putting an innocent act on to make him believe me.

Dave shoved the nearest officer and lunged at Edward, eyes wild. "You planned this! Edward, I should've finished you off years ago!" Edward remained in place, watching him approach. A crackling sound cut through the air. An electric stun baton. Dave collapsed like a puppet with severed strings, limbs useless and twitching. The baton in the officer's hand still glowed faintly blue. Edward looked down at him, expression unchanging. "I might be ruthless, but my conscience is clean. I'm a businessman. I make money—nothing more. I've never hired someone to kill."

Oliver always said he wanted to be close by just in case. Oliver was a computer genius. He could hack into any system .. and do any and everything with high tech equipment. He kept his laptop on him at all times. But if something went wrong with our mainframe… he’d need to be here in this building.
