Minutes later, Ichabod could hear a swift movement behind the shelves and out came a short man in a black tail coat and a large hat which made him look like all those wizards you see in movies like Harry Potter. “Ah! If it isn’t my old friend.” Johhny said cheerfully. “It has been a while since I last saw you. Are you having nightmares again?” “No.” Adams replied, “I would like you to meet someone.” He said, “this is Ichabod Nuel.” Johnny laid his eyes on Ichabod and scanned him from head to toe. A serious smile cracked upon his lips. “Ah. I can see you haven’t come alone young man.”

How…how did you find us?” “We acually came here to look for-” My words are cut of when the door to the box is once again opened and a strong gust of wind blows right through the place and freezes me to the spot, only it's not the wind that has my feet rooted to the spot no, it's the most amazing smell that I have ever known hitting me full force in the face that has me frozen. I didn’t think they would hide here and wait for Dominique. “Dominique, just get what you need for tonight, and let’s go,” I said, wanting to get out of there. “What is it, Nathaniel?” “It’s a wolf,” I said, not saying it was actually a werewolf. Was that Jacob outside waiting on us to come out? Would he follow us back to my place? No. I wouldn’t allow him to do that. So either Tim didn’t know Jacob was still after Dominique, or he did know and was helping get Jacob close to Dominique. I kept an eye on Jacob as I pulled out my phone. His face was a mirror of my father’s, the same sharp jawline, the same eyes. "I’m Jacob," he said, extending his hand with a warm smile. "Edward’s younger brother. It’s good to finally meet you, Victoria." I shook his hand firmly, feeling the weight of this moment. "It’s nice to meet you too."

His melodramatic antics earned him a chuckle from Jacob. "Fuck off!" Edward growled, veins popping the mid of his temple causing Andrew to step back, though the cheeky grin was still there on his face. On seeing Edward's ferocious glare, Jacob knew it was high time he needed to interrupt. "Well, you can have a try in it, mate. Though I doubt your word will have any affect of authorities. I mean your father, a mayor, is failing, so you barely stand a chance." Shrugged Jacob before he returned back to his cell phone.

All of his friends and employee noticed something was different with him, but nobody knew what was actually going on except for Jacob who had been accompanying him this entire time because he was afraid that his friend would do anything stupid or crazy again because of his feelings. That evening, Jacob arrived at Eden’s mansion like he did these past three days since Karina went missing just to check on his best friend. The guard already knew who he was since he came in so often and allowed him in right away. Jacob entered the living room and saw Eden sitting there with a glass of whiskey in his hand. Alex Rockefeller took two steps forward. “Jacob, do you still recognize me? A year ago, you came to my wedding. You made a lasting impression on me,” Alex said. Jacob Yoder bent his body, and he had a convoluted expression on his face. He didn’t answer Alex’s question. Instead, he turned to Craig Selby. “Who exactly is he? Why would you help him despite the huge risk to your job? You ought to think carefully about your future,” Jacob said.
