Eve moved silently through the dense forest, her heart pounding with every step. The night sky stretched above her, blanketed in thick clouds, offering her the perfect cover. Silverclaw’s territory lay behind her now, its familiar scents fading with every mile she traveled. Constantine had spent the past month combing through all the streets of Seechertown, using his Magic Mirror to forge the glowing ball. A slight adjustment of the glowing ball would show him everywhere he had been. A moment later, he said slowly, "Everything's tainted now. Where is he hiding?" … Over at Sealake Island, in Eileen's room. Eileen had just returned from a walk. She closed the door of her room behind her, putting her hands on the ground. A wave of spirit energy surged out, forming a barrier between her room and everything outside of it.

Elena said to herself and cried some more. Soon she drifted away to sleep, she sees her mom and dad dressed in pure white, standing in front of her. "Elena my child," her mother began. "You have a quest to fulfill and you can't stop now unless you achieve it." Elena stared at her mother and father surprised. "A quest?" She asked. "Yes my child, a quest," her father stated. "The time has come for you to fulfill your quest." Elena still looked confused. "What is the quest father?" She asked. "It seems hidden but I'm sure you will figure it out, when you encounter it," Her father replied.

Always watching. Always listening. And somehow he never looked nervous no matter what situation he walked into. Like he understood more than he should. Eileen suddenly shoved the bottle back into my hands before turning toward the door. “Where are you going?” I asked immediately. “To find him.” I blinked once. “That’s your plan?” “Yes.” “That’s a terrible plan.” Eileen looked completely unconcerned. “If he’s a shapeshifter, I’ll figure it out.” “You can’t just attack people because they seem suspicious.”

Adrian chimed in, “Since no one’s letting go, I guess I’ll just have to share her with these two pesky wolves. Honestly… I really don’t want to…” Victor slapped Adrian across the face, silencing him. “Does a fox like you have the right to talk about others?” Adrian: “……” Sarah looked utterly bewildered. “Hey, wait a minute! I haven’t agreed to anything yet. What are you guys talking about?” Victor and Adrian both turned their heads toward Ethan in unison and said, “Ask him!” Seeing this, Ethan’s gentle eyes filled with sincerity as he asked earnestly, “Sarah, will you?”

Eileen’s pov “Empty,” Alaric repeated. “Since when.” “Since before the guard checked the corridor an hour ago.” He glanced at me, then quickly away. “Her maid says she left dressed for travel and never returned to collect anything else.” “Search the east tower. Every room, top to bottom.” “Already done, Alpha. Nothing.” He hesitated. “There’s more. She’s called for a formal hunt at dawn. Sent word to the entire court an hour past. Says it’s tradition, to honor the new Luna before the moon cycle turns.”

Cecilia's POV "Ah!" Eileen screamed. "You dare to come back?" I grabbed the whip and exclaimed sharply, "Come out! Don't hide." "I'm not hiding." When that male voice sounded again, I looked around suspiciously. The bedroom was brightly lit, but I couldn't see the wizard anywhere. "Your Highness," Eileen's trembling finger pointed to the crow, "Your Highness, do you see its eyes turning red?" I was suddenly startled and walked up to the crow.

Creidhna stumbled back, and Goibniu paused his hammering, “Is that so? Well, now isn’t that a sight!” “Aye! You are a lass after our own hearts then! Just look at you! the red hair of our homeland and everything!” exclaimed Goibniu, coming around and looking me up and down. I wasn’t sure how to take their appraisal until Stella barked at them mentally. ‘Boys, Mother says you have something for Eileen!’ “Oh, Right! You are the huntress indeed! Me and Creidhna have been crafting something for ya for nigh on fifteen years! Shortly after you were born in fact! Just a sec!” he disappeared into the shop while Creidhna rubbed his hands.

Siron whispered. Elara took a deep breath. "I don't know how, but... when you mentioned the name Cian, I remembered something. My dreams. A woman with green eyes taught me symbols. She said... 'if you ever meet one who claims to be us, ask them where the mole on her neck is located'." Kaelan went still. For the first time, his face showed doubt.
