RAIN

RAIN

I was greeted by a grinning twin idiot. "Well hello dear brother, what are you doing here—Greka?!" I ran towards Greka and gave her a big hug. "Ehem, what about me? Míja?" I let go of Greka and stare at the woman who's behind her. I can't believe it! "Abuela Maria! I miss you so much!" I quickly wrapped my arms around my abuela. "I miss you too míja, now what have you done to your hair?! You look like a clown!" Abuela exasperated and I just chuckled. I also heard my dumb twin chuckle.

My Sister's Fiance

My Sister's Fiance

“¿Qué hacen, eh? Why are you all fighting over the screen?” Mamá appears at the edge of Fiona’s frame and immediately snatches the phone. Her face fills the screen, eyeliner on point, hair pulled back neat. “Mi vidaaaas,” she coos. “Max, Issa, come on, show Abuela, have you eaten yet?” “Eating,” Max answers through a mouthful, visual evidence included. Issa lifts her chicken to the camera. “Look, Abuela, Mama cook chicken. Not burnt.” “HEY,” I protest.

Grandad's secret

Grandad's secret

It was like my dreams were haunted, which of course they were and they always made me so weak and frail I got back into the room and I realized that Rebecca wasn't on the bed, I frowned as I got out of the room quietly and tiptoed down the stairs, avoiding all the parts of the stairs that creaked. I felt a bit cold as I saw Grandad's favorite chair in the living room and what was worse was the fact that Rebecca was sitting on it, her eyes closed, and she mumbling, I couldn't quite make out what she was saying but it seemed really obvious that she was talking to someone. Except that I didn't see the someone.

Pregnant For My Ex, Married To His Rival

Pregnant For My Ex, Married To His Rival

Leaning forward slightly, his thumb caught her tear just before it could slip past her jaw. His kind gesture cracked something open inside Adriana, and she swallowed hard, forcing a small nod as she wiped at her face again. “I won’t,” she whispered, trying to sound steady. “I won’t anymore. No more tears. No more secrets,” she murmured, and then pulled them into her arms. As she held them tightly to herself, Tessa’s voice suddenly broke through, her words muffled against her chest. “Does Uncle also know he’s our real daddy?” she asked quietly.

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

But then her dad showed up, holding a small, burnt piece of paper—he’d found it in the pocket of the woman who fell in the water. “Maya,” David said, voice serious. “You need to see this. There’s another secret.” Maya took the paper. Most of it was ruined, but three words survived at the bottom. The Second Vault. She glanced at the school in the distance. The old buildings looked different now—a map, almost. “The second vault?” Maya whispered. “Where is it?” David pulled out a map of the school, pointed far from the rink, deep in the woods where the old chapel stood.

His Secret Backer

His Secret Backer

He was merely reluctant to spend money on me. At this time, James walked over. "Miss, everything is packed." As the last suitcase was lifted onto the van, the house I had lived in for five years no longer contained anything belonging to me. My phone rang once again, but this time I didn't answer. A message very quickly popped up. [Lola, did you book that seven-star hotel in Meridianna? Why can't the front desk find our check-in information?] I ignored it. An hour later, my phone began to ring frantically.

Bound to the Ruthless CEO

Bound to the Ruthless CEO

Silence settled over the churchyard, Antonio cursed under his breath, “Professional cleanup.” I stared toward the tree line, someone had planned for failure, even captured operatives weren’t allowed to survive. Rachel stood quietly beside me thinking. Finally she spoke, “Twelve.” I looked at her, “The man said my mother hid twelve secrets.” She slowly reached inside her jacket and her fingers touched Evelyn’s letter. “Twelve videos, and twelve secrets, they’re connected.” she said. Antonio frowned, “You think every video reveals one piece?” he asked. Rachel nodded slowly, “My mother wasn’t just leaving memories, she was leaving instructions.” The realization settled over all of us, the hard

La Arma's Heir

La Arma's Heir

I don't know what the reason is between the two of them, but when the three of us are together, they always bully me. I laughed but immediately stopped. "Wait. You mean, my abuela was also a secret agent?" "Yes. Your grandmother built her own agency when your dad was born." Ali opened the laptop and was typing on it. A few moments later, he was on a site where there was a pink and black butterfly and flower logo. "This is the La Arma Counterspy." My eyes widened. "That's cool!" Ali nodded. "Yes. She was the founder of that. Now, it's you."

His Secret Princess

His Secret Princess

I recognized Eliza's voice; she and Sabrina had been two peas in a toxic pod since… well, since forever. Sabrina let out a teasing laugh. “A girl has to have her secrets, doesn’t she?” she cooed. “Just wait. Time will tell.” “Aww, Brina!” another voice whined. “You can’t leave us hanging like this!” Sabrina just chuckled again and tapped the side of her head. “You’ll find out soon enough. I’m cooking something up in here. It’s gonna be good; trust me.” Hidden within the confines of the stall, my breathing grew shallow as the cold bite of Sabrina’s words continued to spread. Her mocking tones echoed through the marble-lined bathroom, a cruel counter-melody to the ballroom’s distant music.
