Lars found their arcane aura was easily distinguishable among the mythfolks and depthdwellers who brimmed of elementals. By this point, Lars had learned the difference between sensing energy presence on someone. Arcane aura takes form as a purple flame haze that burns brighter around the head. Meanwhile, elemental aura was evenly spread out to entire body and had calmer flare in its aura shape. Its aura color differs from red, blue, green, or others, depending the mythfolk's elements such as fire, water, plants etc.

This drew the attention of Dusan and the witch in the cell next to him. “What does a spirit elemental do?” I asked Dusan. “A lot of things. I can bring the dead back and I can live forever,” he answered without hesitation. “Bring the dead back?” Reginald asked from behind me. “Yes, but they need a body to come back too. I can also connect with the other elementals in the world like your mate, Ember,” he said. “Connect how?” I asked. “I can see where she is and what she is doing. I can't talk to her though.”
