She visualized the pendant as a bridge, connecting her to the elemental forces around her and to the divine energy she’d felt moments ago. She whispered the names of the elements under her breath - earth, air, fire, and water - and felt each resonate within her.

She looked between us, visibly unsettled. “There’s no wolf,” she said at last. “But there’s… something. Like a coil of ancient power. Sleeping. Coiled so tightly I can’t even name it. And it’s growing more restless by the day.” Samantha went still. I stepped closer, barely breathing. “What kind of power?” I asked. Mira shook her head. “I’ve seen elemental witches. Shifters, fae-marked… this isn’t any of them. This feels older. Like it doesn’t belong in this time.”
