An image of large trucks carrying logs ala Final Destination style popped into my mind. My curiosity got the better of me so I searched where that sound came from. Somebody might be injured and needed help. I just can't walk away from that like I didn't notice anything. I ran towards the direction where the sound of explosion came from. Just a few blocks away from me, I saw some weird vehicle-like object emitting a blue light. As I approached closer, I realized it was cube-shaped and covered in strange drawings all around. The carvings were glowing in blue. The thing was jet-black and looked metallic.

Intrigued, she took a step back and watched from a safe distance, quietly observing his movements with keen interest. Though he wasn't overly muscular, Ezekiel had a towering height and an impressive build that spoke of his fitness and athleticism. Elena found herself drawn to his long, lean legs, admiring their graceful lines and imagining what it would feel like to run her hands over them. What caught their eyes, however, and left them with a dropped jaw was the green pulse, emanating from the object hanging on the wall. The pulse kept them alive and kindled the cave making a torch useless. “Is that…” Ejima breathed in, trying to keep her heart from shooting out of her chest.

The heavier footsteps stopped. Kael halted at the same moment. The bond went taut with warning. A shape resolved in the darkness ahead taller than the previous reinforced Echo, broader, its body a fusion of stretched flesh and older, heavier corporate plating that had been grafted on in layers. Multiple eyes reflected what little light existed. The control collar around its neck was thicker, older, and glowed with a deeper blue than any I had seen on the upper levels. When it exhaled, the air carried the same chemical tang as the grid itself.

Because of that, in an instance you split it’s body and you didn’t find the core, then it means it’s hidden somewhere else. One thing differs the flesh monster from other golems which I’ve fought in games before is that their detached flesh won’t reattach when their body parts were cut although the core is still not destroyed. The flesh monster’s lower part is still moving even though it’s been decapacitated into two, indicating that the core is hidden somewhere in it’s lower body. I glanced to it’s stiff upper body which was lying not far from me just in case it the unlikely happened and it moved.
