CHAPTER 10 “Mom doesn’t know where Sir Arthur got moved either. It’s like he disappeared into thin air. You don’t have any contact with his assistant, do you?” Elizabeth slumped her shoulders and shook her head. “I sold my old phone.” Mr. Eldridge wasn’t on social media. So, there was no way she could reach him like she did with Dorothea. And she couldn’t just send a message through the Benzone Telco website either—that would definitely go straight to Martha.

ELIZABETH POV “Elizabeth we got two clients!” James practically yelled it down the phone and I jumped so hard the pencil in my hand clattered to the table. “WHAT?!” That came out loud enough that every head in the room snapped toward me — Liam, Hope, even Lily looked up from whatever she was doing in the kitchen. “Yes. Freaking. Yes.” I could hear him grinning, I swear I could actually hear it. “They’re from Europe. They picked the Liam one and the one of your husband’s eyes. They’re obsessed with the detailing. They’re offering three hundred K for the two.”

General Kius shrugged while trying to hide his smile, "You are right, Miss Elizabeth." A man handed the two of them a glass of wine which Elizabeth took without any worry. General Kius was intrigued at this woman who seemed to have no boundaries at all. Women around them did not even try to touch the wines yet , in fear, that it might destroy their modesty. But here is Elizabeth who was eager to feel the freedom of the night. "Slow down, woman." General Kius sighed while watching Elizabeth chugged down the wine in her glass until it was left empty.

Elizabeth said, letting out a forced smile and ended the call. Elizabeth checked the time on her phone and it was 45 minutes remaining for her to get ready, she sluggishly took her bath with tears in her eyes, her heart was filled with grieve as thought of her leaving New York ached her so bad, she was never ready to leave the state to another place even if she ever wished to then it wasn't supposed to be a forceful thingy. Elizabeth wore the black bodycon jumpsuit Edde kept for her and fitted it with the silver jewelries that gave the outfit a more outstanding look, she slid her legs into the black Wedge boots and grabbed the white and black purse to the mirror.

He was not an old man. Pinching her chin, Elizabeth mulled over this for a long time before saying, “But doesn’t that mean my family can see it too since Tina is on my friends list?” Sure enough, it did not take long for Tina to leave a comment. “Is that a Porsche? Elizabeth, what exactly are you up to?” Elizabeth snorted and ignored her. Proudly, she said, “I don’t know if she can tell that this Porsche cost tens of millions. Compared to her cheap BMW, one is heaven and the other is dirt.”

He smirked. After finishing his cigarette, Javier walked to his modern stereo system and slipped in an old Beatles DVD. Elizabeth stirred and sat up. Her hard pink nipples tipped into peach-coloured, quarter-sized areolas, and she stretched, thrusting her breasts out further. "Come, my love. I want to forget the bitch!" She blinked when she saw him just standing there looking at her in a daze. Her silent questions didn’t escape him, husky voice, which went with a lush body. The prospect of fucking her grew more appealing by the second.

"Rosalia, I was wrong… Please come back." Just then, a wave carried a drifting bottle onto the beach. Inside was a yellowed piece of paper containing my neat handwriting. "Jared, by the time you read this, I will be gone for good. Not just gone, but never existed at all. The system gave me seven days. I could have fixed everything, but what you did was enough to make me give up. Farewell. I hope you and Melody find happiness."

Her smile was kind and full of genuine pity. "Thank you." She responded politely. A girl no older than seven stared up at Elizabeth from behind the short woman. Her irises were nearly black underneath the thick rim of her pristinely white coif. Most of her thin body was shielded from her mother's generous posterior and full skirt. The occasional rustle of a breeze blew the girl's pale yellow dress around her mother and into visibility.
