Marcus said as a form of greeting. Elena shyly made her way towards them and sat down next to Marcus. Immediately she did, Isabel's eyes snapped towards her, eyeing her like a predator did its prey. "Hi," Elena said quietly. "Who are you?" Isabel asked sharply. "Calm down, Isabel. This is Elena. My girlfriend," Elena swore she could see fire spark up in Isabel's eyes. I turned my gaze to the paper I was holding, fifth floor, room 502. Without further ado, I let myself stepped in the elevator and instantly pressed the fifth floor. I made a deep breath as I break into the door, the neurotic feeling begins to develop throughout my whole system, what if she freaks out? What if, she can’t remember me anymore? What if… There’s so many what ifs going through on my mind, I cannot count them all at one. The sounds I made as I opened the door made it so clear, the person beside her smiled at me. I saw her name plate, “Elisha.” I mumbled. “I bet you’re her daughter?” I made a continuous nod. “She’s talking about you more often.”

Cristela ran up the stairs and I held back a warning that she should slow down. Elise trailed after her but she was slower. “Elise?." She stopped and turned to me. Her eyes darkened. “Gabe." She whispered, from where she was standing I didn't hear her but I read her lips. “I overheard, you're planning a birthday present for Cristela?."
