Her eyes were narrowed sea-green and she bristled at our proximity, her lips curling back into a sneer. “So this is the game, Serena?” she spat. “You using your so-called power on Derrick? That mark does not distinguish you. It makes you a liability.” Derrick stepped forward, low and menacing. “Enough, Elise. You have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Elise got out of the car and quickly pulled the window back; it seemed that no one but me could see Richard's appearance. But what confuses me is the relationship between them. Luna Serena hates Richard; if Elise tries to please her, why is she shady with Richard? Those questions kept swirling around in my head, distracting me; I didn't even realize when Elise walked past me until Lisa reminded me that I was startled awake. I hurriedly followed Elise into the house and then gave her a glass of warm water; Elise's mood was perfect today; it was shown on her face when the corner of her lips always raised into a satisfied smile.

She got dressed and turned to him. “If you need me again,” she said. “Call my name and treat me like a human.” She left the room, leaving Perseus standing motionless, fists clenched, and feeling pathetic. He looked down on his still raging boner with seething displeasure.

Lane. Halsey pulling her hair caught her completely off guard. "Ah! Why are you pulling my hair? Let go right now!" Elise shouted. Halsey smirked. "Get out." She put all her strength into yanking Elise out of the front passenger seat. Elise's eyes watered from the pain. "Let go of me!" Halsey released her. "Consider that a little lesson. Remember, you shouldn't covet what's not yours, or you'll get hurt!"

That was all it took to send her over the edge. "XANDER!" She came with a scream and grabbed my head again. I gave her a few more gentle licks before crawling back up her body. She pulled me into another kiss, moaning as she tasted herself on my lips. "Are you ready for me, baby?" I asked. Elise nodded, wrapping her legs around my waist. "Yes," she breathed. "Please, Xander. I need you inside me." With a groan, I thrust forward, burying myself to the hilt in one smooth stroke. Elise gasped and her eyes flew open. I gave her a moment to adjust before starting to move, setting a slow and deep rhythm.
